Tea
Could anyone give me some information on extracting alkaloids from tea leafs?
Do certain alkaloids need to be extracted in a special way or can all alkaloids be extracted in the same way?
Should one use alcohol or could one use sodium bicarbonate and water?
How many 1g bags of leafs should be used to extract, lets say, 1g of alkaloids?
An outline of steps to use and Any help or suggetions would be appreciated. Thanx
I'm definitely not a chemist or schooled in chemistry, just thought it might be educational and fun. Laymens terms and common everyday chemicals and names would be most beneficial.

Re: Tea
Caffeine would be nice to start with or maybe something else would be even better.
