well, swim already extracted the pseudo (TCE/JD method). swim was planning to make meth, but before he got the all the other shit, he checked into methcathinone. swim has smoked some before and liked it, so cat caught his attention. swim found one synth, but it looked a little too easy and he wanted to double check. he is a little short on funds now, and thought he could do the cat to make some money and help out, then when he has excess money he can start the meth. swim have read other synths, and they use other various chemicals, chromates and all that. swim would prefer to not use them.

swim appreciates all the help he was given here before, and doesn't want to clutter these boards with overly repeated newbie questions. sorry, but he is desperate for some extra cash right now. swim doesn't really want to go around wasting money.

anyway, this is the what he gathered from the main reaction. it is supposed to make an oily crystal that you can safely smoke. mostly pure cat with a small potassium supplement.

swim plans to get the KMnO4 at a farm supply store. supposed to be real cheap. what should he look for (in terms of brands, avoid certain additives or impurities, etc.)?

1. mix 100mL dH2O with 7.5g KMnO4 in jar 3 at room temperature.

2. let the undissolved crystals settle to the bottom.

3. take out 15.5mL of solution and dilute with 250mL dH2O in jar 1 and cool to 0c.

4. dissolve 3g E in 450mL warm dH2O in jar 2.

5. let jars 1 and 2 to sit in the fridge for 4 hours.

6. pour jar 2 into jar 1, stir, and cool for 8-12 hours.

7. should be clear on top and brown on bottom, if still purple there is too much KMnO4 and synth will fail.

8. add 100mL 70% IPA to jar 1 and stir. let sit at room temperature for 2 hours. rinse out jar 2.

9. filter through 2 coffee filters into jar 2. if not clear, recool slightly and refilter with different filters until clear.

10. add a small amount of muriatic acid and stir. repeat until pH is 5-6.

11. pour liquid in a dish and evaporate until it is gooey.

12. add some denatured alcohol to thin out the liquid and keep evaporating. do not overheat or the crystals will melt.

IT WORKED. holy shit. i was surprised as hell. i expected to fuck up somehow and end up with shit, but i was wrong.

sadly, i smoked up all the product with me and some friends. i got a total of $0 profit (they paid me for how much i spent on it). oh well, next batch is a coming tommorow. after this one, i will try to experiment with bigger batches until i get caught buying too much pills and get the cuffs slapped on. but that won't happen, i won't let the greed consume me. well, not too much anyway.

Jack, how would you describe the cat experience compared to meth? I'm curious about anything that gives the same feelings of optimism and euphoria. Is it actually as fun as meth?

Methcatione is definitly non-euphoric

i would describe it as being very distracted, but temporarily focused on the object. you get a good amount of energy. it isn't euphoric (not like morphine where you are in heaven for 4 hours). it slightly uplifts your mood. if you try to write while on it, your mind goes so fast (similar to meth) but you just go from subject to subject, often not even finishing the sentence you started and move on to another thought. if you are not on it, and are around someone who is, they will be very annoying. try to walk around, and you will find yourself staring at something on the floor and keep watching different things on the floor and when you eventually look up, you are lost (i was at a mall).

no contest, meth is better and makes better use of the pseudo, but cat is cool to do all on its own.

i found it impossible to do any school work while on it, my mind just drifted onto other things and before i know it, the class is over.

basically makes you hyper and ADD

oh yeah. it appears to fairly addictive. i already have friends calling me up asking for more. i will keep supplying, but i am already addicted to coke and morph and don't want another addiction, so i will try my best to limit my use to once per batch, to test it

as for doses, i would suggest up to 3 hits, smoked of course. i tried snorting a line, but it burned BAD, but worked alright. but i would rather smoke it. eating it is (as to be expected) a weaker and longer high, but honestly smoking a hit to maintain a high makes better use of it (you have the same strength high and just as long, but smoking uses less compared to eating). besides, the taste isn't exactly enjoyable (it is bitter, similar to meth taste).

i like the smell though. sweet...
