how wet?
SWIM knows there is a range of amounts of dH2O that can b used in a synth.
let's say SWIM is looking for a scalable formula. would half a ml. per gm. of pseudo b appropriate for a 24hr. cook? SWIM's precursors are pretty well dried.

Re: how wet?
how wet you ask,
they say you must get them as wet as possible.

Re: how wet?
that applies to pussy, kirb, not a m synth, as i'm sure u know.
SWIM has no problem w/ the pussy, but how much water for the RXN?

Re: how wet?
Swim thinks that might be a little dry for 24 hours.

Re: how wet?
hmm, but a ml. of dH2O per gm. of pseudo would b too much, right? SWIM knows the h2o amount is somewhat personal, but what would b a good amount whilst providing the greatest safety margin (SWIM's still too noobyish to feel 100% confident).
SWIM would like to also ask about fellow dreamer's cook time recomendations but knows this topic is even more hotly disputed, which is why SWIM settled on 24 hr.s.

Re: how wet?
Swim's never dreamt of one that long, but would guess in the 0.6 to 0.8 range. If it's too dry, you can always add a little water.

Re: how wet?
thanx, kman. to add water later on SWIM should use a syringe in the condenser tubing followed by tape, lest the HI escape, correct? or is there really much HI left at that point anyway?

Re: how wet?
Start off with a half of a milliliter, then add more if you need to. SWIM always used to do this synth with a balloon. If he needed to add more water, he would just twist up the balloon and clamp it with hemo's. Then remove it, add the water and replace. Sure some HI would escape, but so what?
