Understand everyone must start somewhere, but the attitudes and lack of knowledge due to research laziness is running rampant. Not to mention they have no clue as to who others are.

Hi Princess, as you probably noticed earlier today in a different post, SWID is getting a little impatient with those that make no effort to help their self’s. Everything they could ever want to know about this process or anything else is right there at their keyboards, all they have to do is search. Unfortunately, some seem to believe that the way they search is to ask someone else to lay it out for them.

It took SWID months to learn and it was accomplished by spending many hours in front of my computer searching different sites and reading countless articles and write-ups. The information did not come easy and involved a commitment of countless hours to research the information he needed and then to sort that information between fact and fiction. SWID is still learning, every day he searches different sites and reads articles and write-ups in an effort to improve on his understanding, again the commitment of time and effort to finding what he needs.

Today it seems as if every newbee is looking for a hand out, for someone to give them the gift of knowledge without the commitment and sacrifice of their time. Knowledge has a price and if you are not willing to pay that price then you are not ready to learn.

swim thinks there should be some kinda rule that should require every noob to read every post before thay cansubmit a post or respond to one!?, swim spent many hours,weeks,months reading posts here and a couple other web sites, befor swim posted any questions. Oh well what the hell does swim know??? I can't help but feel that Buffalo had myself, among others, in mind when she created this thread. Yes, I'm a lab tips n00b, and I only came here because Metaphysicist moved one of my threads here, but even then, I tried to be courteous to you guys, and was met with pointless insults from a little asshole you all know as Kirby, and a pseudo-intellectual one from ms. Princess here. For many of you this will be a good thing, and that's fine, but: I don't intend to hang around Lab Tips much simply because I'm not involved in the manufacture of drugs or anything else, therefore there's no reason to be here. Sure, I fired right back at little Kirby and Buffalo, but I didn't come here to start shit with anybody; I came with a thought-out and polite question and I thanked people for their help. Well swim only started having 'real' dreams a couple of months ago, and knows what it takes. Swim was new, and still is, but swim is constantly researching his dreams, and knows where respect is needed. Swims respect goes greatly out to Kirbs.

Swim is right though, with peeps coming on with no knowledge, and showing no respect for help.

At the risk of getting flamed by the regs in lab tips, I just want to put in an outsiders point of view in regards to the way you guys treat new comers to this forum.

Most will come in here after reading somewhere (be it on the front page of totse or in other forums) of the wealth of info that is available in lab tips, and they ask questions in regards to quick and easy ways of making meth. They arent aware of what is involved. They ask....you guys flame...and the war starts.

Every now and then somebody will just put one sentence in response to a question...and that sentence is usually the addy to rhodium. Why not do that more often instead of getting up them as soon as a newbie posts.

And as a person who sits here and reads and reads and reads the goings on in lab tips, an observation is that it more often than not isnt new kids on the block causing the grief...its the smart arses that think they know everything and come in here with preconcieved ideas, and try to tell everybody else what they percieve is the "right" way of doing things.

Swim can remember not that long ago when she first came to L.T.. She was welcomed and shown respect from the beginning.

However swim did not ask questions that was right in front of her, and showed insight and respect to the many talented masters here at L.T.

This thread was not directed toward anyone. We have all seen our share of this and as Acid stated most will not stick around.

However it is best to know what and who one is dealing with. Swim has been called out before right Wicked.

Look, I'm not here to flame anyone OR protect anyone. Those who have made the commitment and sacrificed much of their time to learn this process need no defense. They CAN walk the walk AND talk the talk!

I read the post to this thread and I see those few that are guilty of being lazy and unable to figure out how to achieve this knowledge flaming those who have taken the initiative and paid the price to learn. It’s obvious that the lazy minds are jealous of those with the ability to learn on their own, without having someone take them by the hand and “draw pictures”.

None who frequent this forum claim to be better or superior to others, only a fool would make that claim! The only thing that separates a few from the rest is the knowledge they have and HOW THEY ACQUIRED IT. There are those with this knowledge who have paid the price and made the sacrifices necessary to acquire it. Then there are those without it, who are unwilling to pay this price, but still want the knowledge. These are the ones that I have issues with, those that are too lazy to do the research, too trifling to commit the time necessary, too sorry to take the initiative to learn on their own. These few are the parasites among us (and you know who you are!) that try to suck the knowledge from the others and then, when confronted with the reality that they are not ready for this knowledge because they are not committed, spew disrespect and throw insults in an attempt to achieve some form of self redemption by belittle others.

Instead of starting threads like “will this work, meth recipe “ by jack, we have searched the net and spent hours on research to find the answer. Instead of starting threads like “more questions about meth o r methamphetamine synthesis reaction “ by MR. White, we researched and read thousands (and I do mean thousands) of old post to get these answers. Instead of starting threads like “Smoking Meth “ by MeAgain, we have contaminated our bodies and traveled in the world where sleep escapes you, where there are voices in the dark corners, where someone is always following you. I could go on and list hundreds of threads JUST LIKE THESE, that ask the exact same mindless, stupid questions but you all know as well as I that the threads are there. You all also know, as I do, that the answers are there, right in front of you, all one has to do is look!

Alas, my friends, this is the reality of the world we live in! There will always be those that are worthy and do what’s necessary to succeed and there will always be those that are “parasites” and try to live off others success. So what can we do, we will never change these few, only they can make those changes. So we help those that are willing to help there self’s and we shun those that are not. That’s all we can really do.

I was asking about Cold-Water Extraction, and only posted the post after going to www.coldwaterworld.com (http://www.coldwaterworld.com) (The info has been taken down), and doing numerous google and other searches and coming up short, surprisingly. took swim a good while before swim would post on this forum, after many dreams , some great, some good and the occa nightmare.



but reading is what fine tuned dreams to what swim wanted to watch during sleep, and since reading post after post of what interested swim, style and all during dreaming.. dreams have gotten very good and vivid, much less hazy as in the begining of dreams.

since the first time swim began reading, things have only improved for swims dreams, all the techneque's, and usefull info really took swim far and great reading too has helped alot.



swim feels swim could help newbies when questioned properly on a subject, and have also made a fool of one when wrong, swim lives n learns....

hats off too all on the forum, and for many hints n tips,,, many thanks..

Indeed, Phedo's advice to "stay out if you dont like the way L.T is", seems to hit the nail on the head. [I am assuming it's referring to the moronic ones that ask inane questions and then whine when flamed].

It seems to be the case from circulating around the other Forums that the majority of people posting regularly on TOTSE - not just Lab Tips - are something along the lines of nerdy rebellious teens. And fair enough we have all been through a 'teen' phase (nerdy is a matter of opinion & perception).

Occasionally with the ebb & flow there seems to be an influx of silliness & childishness into L.T - most often when someone has asked something in BLTC and has then been pointed this way.....

....so they come on over from BLTC and post here without realizing that people in L.T are either older in years, or certainly maturity and generally try to conduct themselves as adults. Which certainly is not the case on BLTC or a lot of other Forums.

And so the flame wars start.

Sometimes I look at all the misinformation that needs correcting, and think to myself "DAMN I'm not jacked up enough", and end up leaving to do something else.

I recently posted a question in L.T. actually it was tonight. Anyway, I was met with a few jokes (as to be expected) but also with real advice, helpful hints, and a few good pointers. Howver, before I posted, I reasearched this site for three weeks. I read every lab tip I could get my hands on, and cross-referenced everything I found with other sites, current knowledge, and my chem books. The point, is that with the sense to research, it is rare (in my opinion) that newbies will be confronted with rude, mean or nasty replies.

I would also like to again thank all those who have helped me in my quest to dream a dream not so much like the other's.
