converts disposable lighter to torch - Where do I find one???
I once had a torch lighter, but instead of using butane you simply loaded a regular disposable "Bic" lighter into the grip handle. The torch used the lighter's normal flame, but converted it into a torch flame. This was a really neat torch and very reliable as opposed to butane lighters that may not light every time. I really want one of these, but have searched everywhere trying to find another one. Please help.

Re: converts disposable lighter to torch - Where do I find one???
that doesn't seem possible to make a hotter flame using the same (amount) fuel.
it is easy to buy a torch lighter at a gas station, and buy the butane fuel at walmart. when the lighter is empty, you turn it upside down so the small port is on top, turn the butane container upside down, insert container bar into lighter port and push down to drip butane into the lighter. only refill when completely empty. lighter costs 5 bucks, fuel costs a dollar for several refills.

I have searched the net, but not having a name made it tough. I did not find anything via browser searches AND I did not expect any of you to be my "slave" and do another search for me. I was hoping one of you may already know where to find them.

Re: converts disposable lighter to torch - Where do I find one???
microjet
Autozone (usa)
$12.00
It comes with a re-fillable lighter inside, minus the flint and flint wheel. I love mine, and it runs about 2400 degrees F
Couple of passes an inch or so away from the GLASS pipe (NEVER use a torch with foil!) and voila!
Hope that helps!
oops, just looked where dragonman sent ya.
link to actual torch is http://www.solder-it.com/mj300.asp
It IS yellow, but the design is a little different, and like I said. 12.00 vs. 19.95 plus shipping. Your call!
