1. crush pills and run through a fine sieve.

2. spray the TCE into a jar to collect liquid.

3. mix 10 parts TCE with 1 part JD in a jar.

4. mix 10 parts TCE/JD with 1 part pill powder.

5. stir well and let sit for a total of 3 minutes, including filter time.

6. pour through funnel with 1 filter. spray sides of filter with TCE can using tube.

7. pick up filter and wring out. dry filter and chafe material onto plate. can save liquid to reuse 2 more times.

8. chop up the dry chunks and pass through the sieve.

9. pour 250mL alcohol onto pill powder in a jar, stir, let sit 1 hour.

10. pour off the top liquid layer and evaporate it.

11. repeat steps 9 and 10 twice. chuck leftover pill material.

12. pour 100mL acetone over crystals from evaporated liquid, and stir until the crystals crash out.

13. let settle, and pour off the liquid. spread the crystals onto a plate and dry.

I

1. put 1 pint tincture in a jar.

2. stir in 2 cups of water.

3. stir in 25mL-30mL acid.

4. let sit 15 minutes.

5. stir in 1 pint H2O2.

6. let sit 12 hours.

7. filter and rinse filters with water, then dry it.

RP

1. place strikers in a jar.

2. add enough boiling water to cover strikers by a few inches.

3. swirl for 30 seconds and pour off the water and chuck.

4. pour in enough acetone to cover the strips by an inch, screw on cap.

5. shake like hell, releasing pressure as needed.

6. when there is no more red on the strikers, pour through a strainer to remove strikers. chuck strikers.

7. allow liquid to settle as much as it will, then filter slowly, chuck liquid.

8. empty filters into a jar, add enough acetone to cover to RP.

9. stir and let sit until it settles, then filter slowly. chuck liquid.

10. repeat steps 8 and 9 again.

11. empty filters into a pot, add enough acid to cover it.

12. boil lightly while stirring outside for 5 minutes, then filter. chuck liquid.

13. repeat steps 11 and 12 four more times, but use water instead of acid.

14. rinse filters with water, and dry it.

reaction

1. mix 8g E with 12g I with 10g RP and 1 coke can top in a glass bottle (300mL+). stick tube into opening and tape up, vent outside. swirl contents.

2. when the reaction starts to slow down, place bottle in pot of water heated to 150 F.

3. slowly heat up to 200 F as reaction slows.

4. when reaction is complete (golden oil, doesn't stick to sides) cool bottle and take off tube.

5. add 100mL water, shake, then place back in pot to heat up.

6. filter through a funnel with filters and cotton plug until it is clear. collect liquid in a jar.

7. save the filters to clean and reuse the RP on it.

8. add 100mL naptha.

9. make a solution of 1 part lye to 4 parts water.

10. add a little solution slowly, stir, let layer, check pH of bottom layer. repeat until pH>13.

11. add a tablespoon of salt, stir, let layer.

12. siphon top layer into a jar. keep bottom layer in the jar.

13. add half as much water as liquid.

14. add a little acid, stir, let layer, check pH of bottom layer. repeat until pH=7.

15. siphon top layer and add it in the jar with the saved liquid from step 12.

16. evaporate the bottom layer in the dish, finish with a hairdryer, scrape out crystals.

17. go back to saved liquid in the jar, and do steps 13-16 with it.

In the E extraction, there is a repeated IPA step. Would swim be trying to keep what dissolves in the IPA and throw out what settles/filters out?

In the main reaction, is any water added at the start? If so, how much?

jack, gordon, this is about as fucked up as it comes. so fucked up its hard to figure where to start even. so lets start at the beginning. first of all DO NOT buy everything in one place. some states even have laws that state you can be arrested simply for having the ingrediants to make meth. thats right, they dont have to actually catch you with meth or a lab. case in point, (lost the damn link but take SWIM`s word on this) a man was in wal-mart and as he was filling his cart with basic crap, acetone, muriatic acid, matches, VM&P naptha, coffee filters etc. a store employee seen this and notified security, they in turn notified police. police waited outside and when the man came out to his car the police asked him if they could search his bags. knowing he had paid for everything he consented. he was promptly arrested under the new law. its called "intent to manufacture methamphetamine" the man plead guilty and recieved 2 years in prison. TWO fuckin years dude, think about it. here is one of the stories SWIM was able to find this one, it is from west virginia,

METH LAW TARGETS INGREDIENTS, NOT DRUG

Methamphetamine requires the simplest of ingredients. All of which are easily paid for at drug, hardware or department stores in most neighborhoods.

Once the various pieces are placed together and cooked the right way, it completes a dangerously enticing puzzle that is wreaking havoc with police and lawyers.

In courtrooms, methamphetamine is a popular term as well.

Suspects are being charged under a new state law that allows officers to arrest anyone possessing ingredients used to create the drug because they are considered to be operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab.

Suspects have been pulled from homes and cars used as suspected drug labs.

Inside those places, officers have recovered a collage of ingredients, from matchbooks to heating fuels to over-the-counter allergy medicine.

Prosecutors in several counties have used the law to charge numerous criminals with simply possessing the ingredients that make meth.

In Putnam County, prosecutor Mark Sorsaia says meth is consuming most of law enforcement's hours. Numerous arrests have been made and several guilty pleas have been accepted under the possession law, said Erik Goes, a Putnam assistant prosecutor.

Other counties, such as Wood County, have also used the law for adding charges to meth producers who have the drug labs.

Numerous Kanawha County arrests have also been made, though no one has been indicted on the new charges.

Chief deputy assistant prosecutor Phil Morrison said Kanawha could expect some indictments as early as next month. He said it shouldn't be difficult to prove that someone intended to use the materials to cook the drug.

Since the law took effect in June, it's been easier for police and prosecutors to focus on meth production by charging anyone with operating a drug lab simply because they have some ingredients.

The law does not specify which ingredients or combination of ingredients violate the law.

Regardless, it appears to be heading the dangerous drug lab problem off at the pass, law enforcement officials say.

The new law created a sentence of two to 10 years in prison for anyone caught with the ingredients with the intent to create methamphetamine, an increase over scattered existing laws used to charge people previously.

Criminal defense lawyers might argue that clients had evidence seized unlawfully or the evidence that was seized wasn't going to be used in a drug lab.

Ben Bailey, chairman of the State Bar criminal law committee, examined the state's new clandestine drug lab law and said he sees some possible issues with it.

"It certainly looks like it could have some serious vagueness problems," Bailey said. "The potential is there for someone who knows nothing about those labs, but who innocently has some of the legal components for them, to be snared."

When it comes to charging people with trying to make meth, the key words are "common sense," Sorsaia said.

"We aren't getting people with one box of Sudafed. We're catching people with a whole case," he said, referring to one of the drug's ingredients.

Suspects are usually caught with excessive amounts of the ingredients.

Lt. Steve Neddo, chief of the Metro Drug Unit, said his officers wouldn't target just anyone buying a combination of materials used for the drug.

"Sure, we're using common sense when we're doing this. How many people go out here and buy three cans of Coleman fuel and 20 cans of Heet at once?" Neddo said, also referring to some of the most suspicious purchases for meth makers.

Concerns over innocent people getting caught up in the middle shouldn't deter the use of the state's new law, Goes said.

"They [officers] have to believe a crime has been committed," Goes said.

But Bailey said intent appears to be an unclear aspect of the law. "When all the ingredients are that common, there is a risk of an overbroad application," he said.

Two men in Charleston were recently arrested after shopping in various stores in Kanawha City, looking for ingredients. Their spree didn't last long and became suspicious because they targeted certain products at various stores.

Last month, suspicious Wal-Mart employees in Nitro reported a man who had filled his shopping cart with meth ingredients. A call to Nitro police brought out an officer who asked to search the man's shopping bags.

The man consented to the search, and meth-producing ingredients were found. He was arrested and charged.

Police are allowed to search cars, bags or people if there is probable cause. Sorsaia could not recall a case where an officer questioned and searched someone wrongfully.

Neddo said he orders his officers to charge anyone they can in the meth trade.

"If a meth lab is discovered, we're going to arrest someone," he said.

It's not always been as easy for officers. Prior to the new law, officers had to find finished methamphetamine to charge anyone with a crime that would result in significant punishment.

Finding the finished product was nearly impossible because most users don't make it to store or sell. Most of the time, the drug is used soon after it's created, Sorsaia said.

The drug is highly toxic, addictive and volatile.

One wrong move in a meth lab can cause an explosion and fire with an aftermath that can poison or kill.

This was the case in Charleston when members of the Metro Drug Unit were called to a house fire on Crescent Road earlier this year.

Firefighters came across the working fire, controlled it and then discovered evidence of the clandestine drug lab. It was one of seven such fires the drug unit has responded to so far in 2003.

In 2002, the drug unit, which was formed to purchase drugs from informants to lure larger drug activity and not to respond to house fires, responded to no such house fires.

"We've responded to more fire calls in the past year than ever," Neddo said.

Neddo said he is encouraged that the new law could help prevent drug labs from ever reaching the point when they are dangerous to the meth cookers as well as people around the sites of the labs.

I don't think wallie's carries the right brake cleaner. They do carry denat alkie. Don't use ronsonol, use VM&P naptha-accept no substitutes! Swim suggests you do more to clean your pseudo-like maybe a 12-24 hour soak in a non polar sovent of your choice(toluene, xylene, etc..)Swim thinks you could clean your RP better, but it's up to you if you want 5% or 10% of what you could get, or 100%. Swim hasn't even seen an I2 extraction like yours, but if it works, then more power to you.

in this part SWIM will address your methods and ratios starting with supplies:

2% iodine tincture-7% works better, available at tack shops and farm supply houses. 2% will work but neither will work with the ratios and method you list farther on. make sure whichever you use dont have povidone as an ingrediant otherwise the only way to extract the I2 is to sublime it using a coldfinger method and you are not ready to attempt that.

Ronsonol brand lighter fuel, naptha-lighter fluid is NOT naptha SWIM dont care if it smells like i,t looks like it, or who told you it is. it is NOT. read the label it says, "contains naptha" what you will be looking for is called VM&P naptha. SWIM prefers xylene sold under the name xylol.

TCE(aka PCE) with CO2 as propellant, found in aresol cans for degreasing metal-for the most part this is correct however it is used as a brakeparts cleaner. red and black can with a black top made by CRC. this needs to be used in conjunction with japan drier at a ratio of ten parts TCE to 1 part japan drier. do a search on TCE/JD in this forum using the search link at top of the page. there you will find the info.

91% isopropyl alcohol-wrong, use denatured alcohol

epsom salts (dry in an oven on 500 F for 30 minutes)-more like 400 degrees for 2 hours. use a glass pyrex baking dish 9x13 works good. bake it till it is a one piece solid layer in the pyrex. kinda looks like a piece of sheet rock when finished. turn pan upside down on a sheet of newpaper (after it cools) and it will fall out with a few taps in one piece. break it up into large chunks and put it in a sealed container. many say break it into knuckle size pieces. SWIM says fuck that, dont break into such small pieces untill ready to use it cuz if you do by the time you get to the bottom half of the shit its dust. each time you handle it it gets broken smaller and smaller, kinda like a bag of lays chips. get the picture?

2. mix 1 part crushed pills with 3 parts TCE in a jar.-wrong, do the search on TCE/JD as outlined above. follow those directions.

3. stir until mixed evenly, immediately filter, chuck liquid.-wrong, keep the liquid it can be used up to 3 times before chucking it.

4. scrape filter onto a sheet of paper to dry.-wrong, dump the filter onto a glass plate let the filter dry then gently chafe the remaing shit off the filter onto the plate. never scrape a filter as you will get paper particulate in your shit.

5 thru 9 of your steps are close but no cigar. do the search i told you above and follow those directions to a tee and it will cover all this.

SWIM has to go to the fuckin store and will address the rest of this when he returns in an hour or so. the above should keep you busy longer than that tho lol. part 3 when SWIM returns

the acid amount is way to high in the above posts. SWIM is late making it back but SWIM cant help it. it is snowing and SWIM has plowing obligations and has to get on it before the shit is asshole deep to a tall indian. however he will say that to

1pint of 7% tinc he stirs in 2 cups of DH2O, then he stirs in 1 shotglass (25-35 ml.) of acid. lets it set 15 min. then while stirring adds 1 pint of peroxide. lets set 12 hours and voila 45 to 48 grams of I2 crystals.

now to address chills post, chill lets not forget who brought the TCE/JD method to this board. a month ago you were here asking advice and now your giving it. thats all well and good however SWIM has been doing this over 20 years. if SWIM types it than its fact up and theres a reason for it. SWIM finds it daunting to remember every little detail down to the color of the tablecloth that was in use that day and sort of expects the people seeking advice to just do as SWIM says. like he said he types everything for a reason when he gives methods and such. SWIM encourages experimentation and variances as thats how things are learned and improved upon. but to say "no do this cuz you do it and other than that Wicked is right on" is bullshit and misleading. SWIM has been using this method since the end of the summer and has done much testing with it. more than anyone here i assure you as i ran it thru the paces many times before i posted it so as not to look like a retard and to be able to answer questions when different variables arose. did you know that the TCE does a BETTER job cleaning the 2nd time around? well it does, dont ask SWIM why cuz he dont know. he is not a chemist. however it has been found that for some reason the chems do a better job after they have 1 cleaning under there belt. so Wicked is dead on from the start. so if your throwing it out after only one use then you are not realizing its full potential and you are wasting money, and chems and not getting your full bang for your buck. remember tho its not his method or invention. you can thank Ware and the kidz for this method over at wetdreams. all SWIM did was tested it exhaustivly and reported his results back to Ware. this method is Wares brainchild NOT SWIM`s. SWIM dont mean to sound like a asshole or knowitall SWIM is just tellin the shit like it is and if he comes across that way then for that he apologizes.

now for the RP part, you guys are going about it the time consuming, chem wasting, pain in the ass way. now before anything is said about anything try this 1st . SWIM can clean the RP off of a case worth of strikers with 1-1&1/2 cups of acetone or denatured alky, use either its your choice. SWIM uses whichever he has the most of at the time. heres how its done, cut the strikers off the packs as normal, put em in a jar. boil some DH2O, enough to cover the strikers by a few inchs at least. pour the HOT water in the jar with the strikers, swirl it around a few times and immediatly pour off the water. dont let the water set on em cuz it will degrade the paper to much and the shit will be FULL of paper fibres. 30 -45 seconds is all that the HOT water needs to set on the strikers. now pour in the tone or alky in an amount to cover the strikers by an inch or so. cap it with lid and shake it a few times, stop let the pressure off and do it again then again after a few times it will cease to pressure up so bad. now shake it like hell the tone will turn maroon and will not clear no matter how long it sets but you will be able to see the strikers a bit and you will see they have NO RP left on them NONE zilch, nada. a few here and there may have a bit just shake it a few more times. dont shake it like your scared SWIM means SHAKE that bastard. now the shits off the strikers in less than 20 min from start to finish. no scraping, no toothbrush bullshit, no all day project no half gallon of tone wasted and best of all no more throwing 20% of the shit away simply cuz your tired of fuckin with it and/or time is wasting to get the rxn started. work it up as usual from this point on. a couple tone washs to get rid of most of the glue, a muriatic soak/boil (preferably boil, boiling does a better job and saves time, a 5 min boil does what otherwise takes a 12 hour soak, outside only of course) then 4 or 5 DH2O washs then dry it bone dry.

one last thing DO NOT use your I2 wet. SWIM see`s alot latly where rookies are saying: "dont bother drying your I2 crystals dude just chuck it in wet and dont add no water." that is pure bullshit, cutting corners, lazy ass fucker way to go about it. look at this shit like its an art, you are the artist. its up to you wether the end picture is a masterpiece or the scribblings of a 2 year old. remember why you started this in the 1st place, remember that shitty crapass dope you were scoring?? the shit that made you say fuck this man im gonna learn to do this myself so i can have good shit. well it was made by people with the same cut corner halfass, dont dry your I just dont add water, lazy fuck attitude.

drying the 3 precursors bone dry and adding the proper pre-MEASURED DH2O is the proper way to sucess. you will only get out of the shit what you put in it. dont be a cook that cooks trash and puts trash on the street. stay focused for fucks sake and remember why you started doing this. now SWIM has to go work at a paying job and has spent valuble time to bring you valuble advice. use it or not.

alright, i edited several times. please, check to make sure i got it right. wicked didn't completely finsih the I and the RP, but i think i finished it correctly. i may be wrong though.

the (possibly) only thing that needs an overview is the reaction itself, but i think getting the reactants cleaned up correctly is more important than the reaction (well, you know what i mean).

Swim dreams of drying his RP on a homemade dryer made from a lamp with a piece of cardboard taped around it, so that a glass plate placed on top of the cardboard will be about 4-6 inches above the bulb.

Swim has heard that wrapping I2 in a piece of wax paper, in an airtight jar, atop a layer of dried epsom salts(with a layer of filters or something in between)is the way to go.

About reusing the TCE/JD, swim would think that it's because like attracts like, so the gaak already in the TCE/JD attracts the gaak in the powder more strongly than the goodies.

as soon as i sell the batches i have chillin in the mini fridge in my room, i will be set to start the meth process on my own. i will definately give updates when that starts happening. the thing is, it might take me a while to sell the cat, cause my friends are assholes and want me to sell it cheap as fuck (i knew that experimental batch was a bad idea. now they don't want to pay the increased price, but i have to make more than just break even).
