nightmare gone wrong
i had a nightmare, in which i was just about to do my lye out in a rp/i reaction. i think i messed up by putting the lye directly into the honey, cause it turned green (the lye/meth layer) and had red stuff floating at the top. i saved it to see if i couldnt pull any dope outta it today. can someone please explain my nightmare

Re: nightmare gone wrong
In the original post you said you were worried that you may have put the lye directly in the honey. Isn't that what you are supposed to do?
The instructions I have read say to add lye, a solvent like tetrachloroethylene or naptha, and shake. Then you take off the oily layer, mix it with an acid, and dry to get the final product. Am I misunderstanding something?

Re: nightmare gone wrong
the orange/reddish shit you have found in your basified layer (lye/water layer) is called orange gakk II. its the second version of some mysterious polymers that have been incorporated into the pills to fuck up your extraction of the goods from the basified layer. it is activated when the layer is based to 13-13.5 killing yields and making what you do get taste like shit. do you still have one of the boxes the pills came in? SWIM would really appreciate it if you could type out the lot#, expiration date, brand, pill strength and list of inactives. doing so could greatly help SWIM and the crew at upallnite productions. if possible please post the info here.
like was said above, gakk is all the shit in the pills besides psuedoephedrine some of it harmless and needed to bind the pills, some of it has been formulated and designed to thwart the efforts of the dreamer.
in the future do a TCE/JD extraction on the pills (white 60`s) that the TCE/JD was formulated to work on. do a search here on TCE/JD and/or on my user name. or find your way to wetdreams and find it there. if SWIM can help let him know here and he will answer/help best he can. SWIM maybe wrong here as SWIM isnt there to see what you are seeing but from the description you gave SWIM thinks he is dead on the money.
what you are experiencing is NOT because you added the lye directly into the water layer. SWIM would recomend making a dilute soultion of lye/DH2O. take 1/8 cup of DH2O and pour in SLOWLY 5 grams of lye while stirring. let it cool to room temp. as it will be hot from the exothermic rxn. then slowly add the solution to the water layer. SWIM recomends pouring in your non-polor solvent BEFORE basifing your water layer so that when the PH comes into the sweet spot the amines have a place to travel instead of having them all dressed up and nowhere to go so to speak. hope this helps.

Re: nightmare gone wrong
ok, about the pills. they were target sinus and allergy. lot # m457, exp date 6/06. 60 mg pseudo, their was another active chem in it called clorphenlramine hcl 4mg, but in many other dreams i had, it all boiled out in mineral spirits and everything was gravy. the inactives were lactose, magnesium silicate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline, and polyvinylpyrrolidone. i dont think i trust that last chem.
and tell swim i said thanks, that really did help me out alot. OH, and in my dream, i did get product back, it was only about 1/3 instead of 1/2, really hard to get the pH level right on it, and made many light bulbs filthy, but other then that it was good stuff. expecally when i thought i was gonna get a return of 0.
now off the subject, why did my ip address get banned for a day. i tried to post a reply yesterday, and it wouldnt let me.

Re: nightmare gone wrong
The lye is a base used to get the goodies out of the rxn water, and into the non polar. Then one can mix the non polar with more water and add H2SO4(an acid)and chase the goodies into water again.

Re: nightmare gone wrong
yo' wicked, SWIM meant no dis, SWIM knows your info is flat on the level. SWIM just speaks his mind but said speech is often skewed w/ SWIM's life axioms, among which is "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get ya'". another great one: "make love not war but, be prepared for both".
condolences for the confusion.
