i have a question about the synthesis of meth. what if you have ephedrine or pseudo ephedrine, and want to make meth. it appears to me that the only differece between those two is a alohol group. some reasearch on the net has proven i could reduce meth with HI and redphrosporus. the red phrosporus would act as an recyceleer for the HI. my actual question is what happens OH group of ephedrine, is the alcohol group replaced by I or H and what kind of other weird reaction products can i get?

the other thing a get get an answer to is whether i have to use iodine crystals and solved in water or methanol?? bud if i soluded the iondine crystals into water it would immediately create HI so an different reaction will take place.

No. Replaced isn't the correct verb here. Reduced is more like it. [C10H15ON]<-ephedrine....meth--->[C10H15N] The weird products you are referring to are null and void here. When talking of reducing with HI/RP.

No. The iodine crystals aren't soluded(as you put it) in anything. The iodine crystals won't create HI until and uless you combine them with red phosphorus.

1) can PI3 react with ephedrine so the OH is reduced to I?

2) does HI first reduce ephedrine to ephedrine with the OH replaced with I and after the I-ephedrine reacts with HI again wo creacte meth?

3) whenn you add red P to the iodine, PI3 is created. this reacts with water and you have HI and phrosorus acid, is this phrosporus acid H3PO3 or H3PO4

4) is the gas that is produced during the reaction HI?

I was wondering if you can just buy some "phrosorus acid or phrosporus" and what do they use it for. It must be new on the market I've never heard of it.

the thing with addiction is in my opinion like this, drugs are addictive bud whenn your mind can do without it, your body is also free from addiction. just do it only whenn you feel like, and not whenn you feel bad of using meth becouse you well get addicted then.

by the way i don't know how long this method is done bud i geuss it's for a long time. it is easy anyway

what i do now that the nazi's did the LiAlH reduction (hitler was heavily addicted, got it more than five times a day).

you can get phrosporus really easily from machbook strikers or something, search the web. you can also buy it at chem stored on the web ofcourse (don't buy it together with I that's suspicous). i heard there is also really much Phrosporus in human shit , bud i don't know how to exract it.
