Question for u as swim begins exploring and having fun with the chemistry of it all. was reading mad's post on p2p & agree its doing something swimself that gives pleasure, plus knowing what swim has beats the hell out of what everyone else has!!!) Anyway question is has anyone played with ephedra as a starting material, instead of the dg psuedos. Swim has whole bottle of 375mg ephedra and wants to give it a go. found some info on rhodium, but would like to see if anyone has personal experience to share.

a 385 mg ephreda pill will returned about 15mgs of ephedrine,,,so forget it

Kirby - Swim doesnt want to make ephidrine, swim wants to use the ephedra instead of the ephidrine. found a post of rhodium regarding this. wash ephedra with methanol, mix with Hcl and RP and cook to make snow. similar to basic rp/i method, just different starting material. is easier and cheaper to get than synthetic e.

thanx jam. for that pound or 10 - what kind of return is possible, or is swim barking up the wrong tree. was told could be more cost effective. thought it might give things a bit more punch. chili is clean, smooth and gets u wacked, but lacks a real kick. swim has only done small cooks, but returns were good. swim only cooked for about 3 hours, but had the same description for finished product as u described to infosponge earlier. any suggestions.

Squirrelgirl, the ephedra only contains a small amount of ephedrine, which is what you really need to make goodies. I think the plant material contains about 3-5% of what is needed, and that's why Jam said you'd need pounds, and not just a few pills. If you're gonna go that way, then you might be better off getting raw plant material. From what i've seen of those ephedra pills, they're expensive as hell!

ephedra wont reduce to meth...

anyone out there chucked a pound of ephreda into ammonia with some lithium and np,,and see what comes out of the np on gassing..

SWIM was thinking of growing Ma Huang, just for shits and giggles. SWIM used to have a Mormon Tea shrub (norpseudoephidrine), could it b used just as Ma Huang for an M synth?

these plants are pretty easy to grow.
