'ABSINT' aka 'The Green Fairy'
Has anyone heard of this, or is it just some hoax I saw on some movie... I remember something about it being banned in the states.
If someone could clear this up for me it would be great.
Thanks.

Re: 'ABSINT' aka 'The Green Fairy'
It's a drug of some kind. They depict it as being something you drink. Some European thing...

Re: 'ABSINT' aka 'The Green Fairy'
Absinthe is an alcoholic drink that contains, among other herbs, a little something called Wormwood. In the wormwood is a drug called Thujone, which produces the desired effects. Absinthe containing Thujone is illegal here in the US, but that doesn't stop people from importing it or making it on their own (it's very easy). Go to www.erowid.org (http://www.erowid.org) for more info, or just wait for the replies (lazyass )

Re: 'ABSINT' aka 'The Green Fairy'
absinthe is basicly wormwood oil in pernod wine. the oil is legal in us (external use only, yeah, right). SWIM has tried the oil in burbon, not bad, a narcotc like effect. it also is an antithelmetic (expels worms, it does taste pretty bad). it also can cause "brain decomposition" not to b used often or in lg. doses!

Re: 'ABSINT' aka 'The Green Fairy'
Heh heh.. Taste bad yes! BUT you need an absinthe spoon (spoon with lots a small holes in it, just make it yourself) then you pour absinthe in the glass and then pour sugar on the spoon and drip some absinthe on the sugar and then light it.. then the sugar melts and you stirr it in the absinthe.. Add cold water, whiskey, cognac or whatever you may fancy And then DRINK

Mmm, absinthe.
If you want to buy some look for "Sebor".
