I've read in a number of threads that you should not put H202 in with the RXN unless you're re-using rp.

Now, with regards to Curbshots rendition, what would you change in his synth besides the E extraction method.

Swim's never used anything but DH2O, and heard that H2O2 could hinder the rxn, but doesn't know for sure.

An obvious change is the method of heating. Swim dreams of using a hotplate to heat a can of sand, and has never had a problem with this, but has heard that oil in the sand might provide a more even overall heat.

Swim has learned that a test tube doesn't work that well as a rxn vessel, because it is very difficult to mix the precursors, and has dreamt of a 100 or 125 mL erlenmeyer flask for nanos.

Swim recommends that either a pH tester, or pH strips be used. Lye lock sucks, and is supposed to leave goods in the crappy lye water. Swim has went back and found this to be true. Knowing the pH also prevents loss to overbasifying. Why not get it all the first time?

Change Hmmm?I would start off using at least 4 grams feed 2 grams red 6 grams i2.Get a hot plate.Go to a hobby store get a 50 ml flask.you can skip the peroxide.Instead of using kingsford use colemans(make sure you dry it).After the reaction add dh20 and boil it.When extracting the oil if you get lye lock throw the whole thing in a coffee pot warm it up then extract your colemans.From there you can titrate to get your gear but if you learn how to bubble DRY hcl gas threw your fuel youll never titrate again.Remember if yer gonna gas.Learn to make dry gas!To bad TMG didnt start makin dry gas until his basement looked like a rusty nail

tx...now I've also read Acidmelts slacker synth and Methheads too as well as Str8's lava lamp rxn.

Would I be right in assuming that all 3 methods work?

Acidmelt & Methheads synths seem to be very close.

I read that once the reaction is complete, you should be able to smell a cat urine pong!?! True?

Don't know for sure about methheads's method, but swim's pretty sure that the others work.
