SWIM recently had an extremely flooded synth that happend bfore the initial reaction took place; this was bcause of a RP fire and a broken flask.

rather than boil it down to try to refire it, SWIM chose to do a normal honey workup to reclaim the pseudo (didn't want to wait for all that H2O to go).

now, SWIM would've gotten 2.5gm. of M at 50% return on the pseudo if, the RXN had compleated, but from the honey's first and second pulls (still waiting for the third) SWIM only got 1.1gm back.

question time:

1. where did it go? SWIM isn't expecting much more from the third pull so, could the RP fire in the flask (bfore it cracked and flooded) have burnt away the missing pseudo and/or could it b all that H2O SWIM had to deal with?

2. the resulting pseudo Hcl SWIM got was crashed, washed and flashed w/ dry cold 'tone, yet the pseudo burnt SWIM's nostrils when SWIM tried a couple of key sized bumps (just to experiment). is there remaining acid? SWIM thought he 'toned it well, will more help?

3. what is it? it should b only pseudo Hcl but, even though the key bumps burned (SWIM had to flush nose w/ water seconds after huffing them) the effects were more enjoyable than a couple of sue the feds would b. the reaction did take place for a min or two bfore the RP fire and flask mishap and the flooded (250ml H2O) RXN was left at room temp w/ cond. attached for 5 days (cold reaction?)

could a small amount have been converted to meth and/or ido/ iodo compounds?

4. this Hcl, b it pseudo or, whatever; can it b added to a new synth? at what ratio? can SWIM mix it w/ pseudo freebase in a synth?

a_a you are not doing too shabby considering the trauma your half/precursors/half reduced prcursorsendured and went through.

Sounds like you got some acidity there.

Do you have PH-strips there that go to black(14)?

And asolutley the pseudo was getting stripped down andmolecule by molecule was doing so when the five-alarm fire broke out.

If you enjoy the buzz, then it's your call as to if you keep the honey you have crystalized.

This is where folks get aggrevated by others asking for things they must with their own brains and their own bodies, go through the motions we all in the beginning had to go through and live and ulitmatley learn.



Had you not of cracked that flask you would have earned you a pile full of pleasure and cherished treasure.

There is however, always next time.

Minus possible hostile foreign objects better left outside the flask and maybe in the trash.



Most go through the reaction and end-up with wishfull thinking their first time or ten.



I'd say because of iodine crude and unrefined and way to wet to ever expect to create and recycle HI when mixed with R.P.

so, could there really b much M in that Hcl SWIM reclaimed from the failure?

would more cold dry 'tone help w/ the acidity of the reclaimed Hcl or does it call for a recrystalization?

so a glass stem/crack pipe is OK for toking?

and, yes, Jam, SWIM has learned alot from the mishap. SWIM viewed it as a chance to practice honey workup, seperatory funnel technique, precursor reclaimation, etc. u know, silver lining and such.

SWIM had known about Lyceum, Rhodium, Erowid, etc. for a long time and had always wanted to try a M RXN but thought it too technical, upon happening unto TOTSE SWIM knows it's possible.
