When swim started, everyone gas'ed in a jar, swim found that kinda funny and swim decided to try a glass bowl. sweim used round pyrex bowls and square ones, swim is able to gas evenly across the top and the excess gas'es are easily vented off by blowing gently.

Does anyone else do it this way? Sometimes we look so much at the parts that seem difficult to us, we overlook the simple things. Like swim did'nt know that you added salt to your water to help make the transition from the water to the NP. Swim recently tried this and found that it did help alot, swims not sure on an amount to use, he just used a couple of heaping spoonfulls, on 14g cook.

SWIM gass`s in jars as its easier to pour thru the filter/funnel than bowls are. SWIM uses a small aquarium pump to aireate after gassing and before pouring thru the filter. the humiduty level is very dry where SWIM lives so moisture is not a prob when doing this. even if it was SWIM would just build an extra inline dryer for his aireator same as he does for his gasser. SWIM always pour cold dry tone thru his goods while still in the filter/funnel as soon as the NP quits dripping. this always removes any excess HCL and along with the aireating surly works killetr. salt in the mother jar does work welland hurts nothing. make sure its non-iodized. SWIM dont measure he just pours it in lol sometimes 1/8 cup he is sure on a 10 to 20 G mother jar. he dont add it till the 3rd pull however.

Well swim kinda developed his own way of gass'ing, cause he don't like having to chase the goods out of the filters with heet or water or what have ya. What swim does is gas in a bowl, when he feels he's got enough for the round, he slowly, twists the bowl back and forth much like you would a steering wheel, to keep the goods from settling and sticking to the bowl as much as possiable, then he decants that into another bowl but leaving the heavier goods on the bottom, then he lets dry, then scrapes it clean and repeats the process, Now this seems like alot of hassle, it is, but it just works for me better so I kinda stick to it.

Hey wicked, yeah I kinda figured non iodised was what I needed, so thats what I used, and thanks for the tip on waiting till 3 pull.
