Re: matchbooks
in between cleaning a shitload of matchbooks last night swim tried the tce/japan dryer method for pseudo and it worked great....swim did a three box test (cause it was swims first time) followed directions exactly and bammm.....worked perfectly....swim didnt get done with the rp but that gets old real fuckin quick!
does rp leave a residue behind if its clean, for example burning a little sample and say it leaves like a yellowish residue behind. is that the glue or does it leave that behind either way?

Re: matchbooks
Some say no residue at all. These eyes see a wave of green fire when lit, lots of smoke that smells like the 4th of July and a small mound of black ash. While the pile is burning, gently spread the mound out with an opened paper clip or similar this will allow oxygen to the bottom layers giving more complete burning and a better examination of the residue. My guess is that colored residue may need a bit more cleaning.
Experiences indicate that even if the rp isn't clean, the reaction will not be inhibited. I cannot speak for reactions less than 12 hours, though.

=============
jesu: two years ago??
Really, this is so nifty and easy it must have been posted before:
I kinda "inherited" a buncha red hots:
have not dicked with them for 3 years at least.
===========
I always used the bouncing seive or colander
under the cold water spray to get the nasty red off.
That beat the prior method of laboriously using a razor blade:
Worlock and I bantered about that
in some detail before things got all serious.
(ah the good old days)
Damn I lost a lot of blood, back then:
Hardly have any left to this day. ....
================
So one of two conditions exists:
it's soluble in acetone or it ain't.
Mostly it ain't. (Never seen any that was, either....)
So you put the candy in a bottle with a lid
(Well, actually, you put it in any way you want:
but the BOTTLE should have a lid don'tchaknow...)
and you cover the candy with acetone.
Then you add a small quantity (ml or so: or 2 or 3)
of DH2O:
And of course shake.
The water picks up the red until it becomes red-saturated:
it won't hold no more nohow.
Let it settle and take a gander at the pills what settled out.
Need some more off?
(Nobody needs that damn sugar:
causes insulin instability, right?)
Add anudder ML(or 2 or 3) or so: shake and check.
This technique is so controllable
that you will have uniform removal,
and essentially no erosion
of that which you wish to remain intact.
No more ugly pock marks:
no more disgusting abberrant red-coat hold-outs.
No more winsome looking
at the red water going down the drain
knowing it's stealing 15 to 23.5% of your decongestant
In fact even the sharp edges of the pills,
and letters inscribed (on some)
will be as they were when first flung
into the rolling tumblers
which imparted the coating to begin with.
Like I said,
this musta been posted before:
but it was a "EUREKA" to me...
dwarfer
===============================
Yes, despite it's obviousness,
this was a breakthru.

Re: matchbooks
Switrd overheard some guy that said he could get some for 50 bucks an oz. Well hell...if switrd wasn't such a paranoid fucker he might have asked 'em for a lil. hahahaha
NOT!!!
I told Switrd he's better off saving himself some jail time, and just continue doing it himself.
