can someone recommend the best, easiest place to get muratic acid? can i just go to walmart?

swim had the best luck at lowes, couldnt find it anywhere else but swim passed it in lowes like 4 times and it says plain as day in big ass letters muriatic acid...good luck..oh yeah and the best part is swim got it free cause the dumb bitch at the register scaned swims solvent gloves and didnt scan the acid

You can get it at any building supplies menards, home depot etc. also around here they carry it at farm and home supplies. Look in the paint and supply section it is used for cleaning concrete surfaces before painting them.

This swim keeps it stored with paint etc. that way if anyone asks, that is what it is used for. Look at the manuf. instruction on concrete paint it says on it. Clean surface with muriatic before applying. Just a thought for what it is worth.

I was surprised to find it in my garage. When our new driveway was put in, muriatic acid was used to clean it... only yesterday did I read on the forums it was 28% HCl, went to check, and affirmed that. Cool.
