equal to 1%titratable iodine 3.1% by volume is that what im looking for to well...ya know, swim didnt buy it yet cause all swim had was checks and well fuck that

verify everything i say as red/iod isnt my forte,,

but from what ive seen and read,,

most of the guys seem to find 5% to 8%..

and usually as a foot tincture for horses,,or some other poor farm animal..

but your on the right track,,as they all seem to score it at vets or feedlot and farm supplies

yeah im thinking about ditching the method myself but is there an actual easier way all the ones ive read seem to be more difficult

the first time is hard as your doing everything for the first time,,from cleaning precursors to making the gasser,,

if you could get anhydrous ammonia theres an easier way((in my opinion))

but if you cant,,stick with the red/iod way,,and youll get there..

just keep coming back and checking your on the right path..

Sitback, swim has dreamt about something called Durvet's strong iodine tincture,and thinks this is what you seek. 7% iodine, 80%alcohol, and 13% water. Swim has also heard that there is more than one version of this stuff.

Swim doesn't know if any of the other methods are easier, but this one seems safest to swim, and Kirby was right-practice makes perfect.

yeah swim has just about everything or at least located it exept for the iodine which i didnt think it would be so hard to find...swim still want to do alot of research anyway but he would also like to practice his synths and soforth but in his opinion he is moving along nicely thx to alot of peeps around here and still has a shitload of studying to do so hes not in much of a hurry anyway but the main thing is anyway to have access to the stuff...which i do i just cant find the right iodine...like always swim can find anything swim dont need, but nothing that he does, that goes for general things in life..lol well swim got a nice four week vacation starting today so he has alot of time on his hands

Those fucking sales rep's will try to sell you that 'wonder' powder for thrush instead of tinc. Just tell him "my paw uses iodine,and if I return with anything else I'm looking at an ass whupin'". And dont go into the feed store wearing a led zeppelin T. Feed stores are your friends. It's a lot easier than trying to fuck with those 1 oz bottles from wally's. Tuck in your shirt and wear a belt! Hey all, wazzup? I was reading this and thought...hey I'll put my penny in here (don't have 2 cents it's Christmas time) lol..anyhow, tincture iodine 7% is used for cleaning the udders on the mama cow and umbelical areas on the calf, so if you know what it is used for it is real easy to walk up and say I need this and when they ask what you are using it for you can tell them....swim tried saying it was for a horse caught in barbed wire once....wrong answer around here, they had all kinds of "wonder cures" and wouldn't let swim even see what they were looking for..just a thought...

haha thats funny cause that is what swims excuse was gonna be "swims dads horse got caught on some barb wire and he insists on iodine and he wont use anything else"

That prick at the feed store gave me the same shit about these other wonder potions and shit....I said, "I'm doing my friend a favor, he said he needed the iodine right away for his horse's foot...and I'm not about to have to make two trips cause I got the wrong thing. swim found some tinc and it has 2% iodine and 47% alcohol thats about all he come up with in that department

Always tired and Gizmo: Thats some funny shit. Those sales reps will try and sell you that $13 a bottle wonder dust shit! Too funny that it happend to you guys too! They try to stear you from iodine because its cheap and to be frank, not practical as the wonder dust shit. I always shoot the shit at the counter and what not. the screwed up thing was that swim found some tinc in the 1oz. bottles was 3.99 a piece in a local drug store and swim went to wally world it was 88 cents.

still havent made it back to the feed store yet swim got a pretty good snow storm last night and its so fuckin cold swim doesnt really feel like leavin his house. swims got some backup up though...a nice big fat sack of green that swims been smokin on....

Hey princess, you are right, we are the minority, was reading a post about not getting the ladies involved (men were talking) and I do believe though that I totally agree, most ladies will sing their hearts out at the first sign of trouble so even though you are a lady as am I, be careful who you surround yourself with.

As for where I am, Oklahoma, which means because of the OK City bombing, don't you dare go and ask for fertalizer, don't ask for tinc, cuz "them damn druggie people are the cause of all the bad that happens" that is the concensus around here, if you are under the age of 75, you are probably a druggie, never mind that I do have horses, or that I just bought a house and am having to strip some of the paint and redo it, and that I added 2 more bedrooms to it, I don't need any chemicals whatsoever, also, a freind of mine went to Ho**y Lo**y and tried to buy a vial for their kids science project, the took his drivers licence and made a copy of it, so I tell ya, here in OK you have to deal with major major PARANOIA lol

yeah that would make things a little difficult. can you use darker color matchbooks cause its not the best season for them and all swim can find is the darker almost black ones swim heard they suck but is there any rp used in them

swim never has a problem with tinc. for awhile he was paranoid and would sit in the car and send in the girl, she would come out with 3 pints and a hoof scraper (buying other foot care products can't hurt). swim thought that his girl was flirting with the redneck folk to get this, but has since been in and has no problem grabbing 3 pints, hoof scraper, bucket, skip the small talk and get out of there.

Agree if told talk or jail most women and alot of men fold. Been there done that don't care to go back but the way I see it there is only one option. I associate with and trust very few. The people I have met and communicate with here are some of the best out there.

I've had no problem ordering Iodine Tincture 7% from vet supplies on inet.
