swim has iodine crystal in folded up in paper towels inside a small jar with the lid on .. then put inside a larger jar with one of those oxygen absorber sachets and the lid put ontop of that

anythin else i can do to preserve iodine?

how long do you think the crystals will last with the set-up mentioned

good question, swim got cry io in a filter, in a jar with dryed epsons, jar is in a epsons carton, gots only 2 to 3 g's but is storeing for dreams way in future, away from swim and shitter. plan on storein for a while. swim thinks this will last long long time. ,,, thinks anyway but will know ina few months.....

Freezer

Keep them out of sunlight, and take the paper towel out of the jar, it is going to absorb alot of the iodine. Keeping them in the freezer is a good idea, but a little will leak from the bottle unless it is o ring sealed so you might not want to leave it in a food freezer for long periods of time .

Prepare/collect over/scrape/store your I2 on Waxpaper. When you are finished harvesting your crystals from tincture, place the collected crysta;s onto a fresh sheet(s) of Waxpaper, fold the Waxpaper over with the I2 being placed in the center and keep folding until they are wrapped up completely. Then you can apply pressure with your fingers/side of your fist/etc. and squeeze out the water/moisture out of the crystals and not lose any of the I2.

Do this by the light of your monitor if you will and immediately place your folded piece(s) of Waxpaper into a Ziplock Zipseal Bag and fold it lengthwise and then folded over itself and with all air removed.

Use a rubberband to keep it compact and keep in a dark place(naturally).

Then, when ready to use them, simply open-up onto/over a sheet of Black & White section of newspaper and this will catch/pull any moisture present away from the I2 crystals respectively.

Waxpaper and pantyhose are by and far absolutely paramount in doing I2 extracts.

Jam is the man. Wax paper will keep those pesky stains off the kitchen table, and keep your old lady from beeting you like a red headed step child. Panty hose are great, but if youre in immediate need, old bed sheets (please dont use the fucking sheets you sleep on asshole), or an old white hanes T. Later, and take her easy

swims found that thunder blast from DG for the usa folks really works nice on io stains in quick order after shakein fine io dust all over the left half of swims white split key board, countertop, all come klean as hell.
