thanx 'melt, SWIM was getting a little worried there for a while. let's just say SWIM wanted to rid his pseudo freebase of the small amount of carbon; could it (base) b dissolved into fresh NP and dH2O washed? what about a hot lye wash first? is SWIM nitpicking? on occasion SWIM has a desire to do all manner of unnessesary things (wink, wink, nod, nod).
