E-2g,rp 1-g. After an hour cooking I put into a homemade sep funnel.Filterd out red.Added aprx 50ml of wallycharcol fluid,then made lye solution aprx 8g of red devil to 20ml or dh2o gave a good shake let sit.Then drained out bottom liquid,drained out top liquid,added 20ml of dh2o 4 drops of murri shaked drained bottom again and evap that one.Tested this and know since it wont melt at all something went wrong. Any info or idea would really be appreciated.I am tring to go over my steps again. I used suddy pills cleaned them good I thought,used inds grade rp and used i crystal not tincture

Sounds like lye to Swim. Use VM&P naptha, no substitutions! My guess is that your stuff wasn't clean enough, because if you cut corners with the naptha, then you probably cut corners in your cleaning. Also, you might try a six hour run, instead of an hour.

Another thing, nobody uses tincture. They take tincture and extract I2 crystals out of it.

I understand the tinc,was just making refrence to that i used i crystal and did nothing to it. had read that you just weigh and use iodine crystal. But the eph was washed and the rp was filtered and acetone was run over it then dried.But as I stated in the first post I am going to re check what I did over and over again. I used the hour time from a post I found about making very small amounts.
