Stirring at -10 C ???
A synth recipe im looking at in my dream is saying the contents were stirred at -10 Celcius.
My question, whats the easiest way to acheive -10 Celcius?
Would I best to create a cold-room (kinda like a large walk-in freezer) or, how could I get the single flask/container down to -10 for the half hour stirring???

Re: Stirring at -10 C ???
Maybe dry ice would be a good start.

Re: Stirring at -10 C ???
Dry ice acetone is too extreme.
A salt ice water bath will get you to -10 to -15 degrees C.

Re: Stirring at -10 C ???
Good suggestions.
What about buying a deep freezer that reaches -10 C, and putting the container/reaction with an electric mixer inside??

Re: Stirring at -10 C ???
Oh yeah alcohol/ice/salt bath or maybe acetone/ice/salt or something will reach around -10C to -14C. No dry ice needed just yet.
