I lil bird told Swim that the yields on a 52 hr reflux are only 50%. I think the lil bird read that on here somewhere.

What would the yields be for a 36hr 20g'er?

What happens to the other 50% (or whatever %) - does it get cleaned out during the final cleaning? Is the A/B sufficent to clean out all the un-reacted E?

If you know of any better yields could u point me to the synth (long reflux) - Thanx.

A lot to do with the cleanliness of your lab/ghettostoragefacility/closet....whatever.Your precursors, and their cleanliness, and I believe I read somewhere that the size of your flask can vary the amount you get back...also the amount of stirring that you do while it's goin on. Amounts of ingredients. Temps.... There are probably a shitload more of variables that can effect your return.

Extra tips.To Increase your Yield of ephedrine and Chili

Take your time, let things settle well,

Pre- treat the filters by wetting them down first with the clean solvent. then pour your solution through it. this prevents the filter from soaking up very much of your solution containing E

Allow your powdered pills to dissolve in methanol or denatured alcohol, for 4-8 hours,.

Coffee filters are really for shit, they work only sort a kin da. The better filters are Melitta brand, green and red package, they are cone filters and have smaller pores use two of them and fold them at the perforations The new improved Melitta filter sucks they now have flavor pores in them (not good)

When evaporating notice all the slick vapors coming off, maybe even a little bit of smoke. Some of that vapor is ephedrine or chili, Say good bye, as it boils away into thin air.

IF YOU WALK AWAY , TURN OFF THE STOVE. or you may burn the shit out of the E

When you get near the end of the water, turn off the stove, turn it on for only a few seconds or a minute ,at a time, if you brown or burn the E the yield will suffer some. asnd the taste will suffer, major.The brown can be removed with acetone washes or an a/b extraction

If unsure if you have fully extracted the ephedrine is? do a taste test. Take some of the original pill sediment, let it dry and taste a small bit, if it has a lingering bitter aftertaste it still has ephedrine in it. The alcohol is bitter but you won't taste it after a few seconds. The ephedrine will still leave a bitterness in your mouth for several minutes

52??.... swim banges nanos, up to 15 g's out in 3 to 5 hrs, amount means little, pureness of regents is what really counts, strenth of acid is what really counts,proper portions count, size is a preference. buzz types depend some on time of rxn, swim likes hot? (warm is more like it) n fast,,, nice and spacey, drunk feeling with lots of leg. and still pull more than 50% back, leftovers are mostly ido meth or ido suse, unconverted shit, make the io/rp the main objective for best outcomes.

UPdate: swim just woke up and dreamt of a 5 gram nano batch @ 10hrs@ 150-190, semi clean premies, babyed somewhat, seen about 2 - 2 1/2 G's of what seems like a good drunk with a ringer..... well worth the sleepin pill swim had to take to see this so clearly on a nice day. seen in swims dream ,DG boxes, 2%, MB. hazey on cost, mmm, bout twentyfive bucks or so . long dream though, had enought sleep fur sure.

works good when dreaming of weekend bar times.
