Just wondering how to go about getting the water out of my iso alcohol. Also was wondering if swird'd could use denat.alc. in recrystaling?

yes iso is good for crystalizing,,,
and dry the iso the same as you would any solvent

the freezer,,the freezer??????
who told you that
go buy some epsom salts100%
pour into backing dish and spread evenly
bake at 300c for 3 hours
tap out of dish
crumble into knuckle size pieces
put in about a cupped handfull each litre of liquid wished dry
swirl around for 3 mins
let sit for 1 hour
filter out the epsom
let sit for 5 mins
pour out solvent slowly
transfer last inch to next solvent container
thats how you dry liquids....
the freezer for fuck sake

Buy some damn iso-heet. It's like 99 cents a bottle and is basically dry. Any minute amount of water that may or may not be present in it can be removed with oven baked epsom salt or NaCl. SWIM has never dried iso-heet and has had no problem at all.
