well I read up birch it helped a little, but I am still not sure if I got it right?

so I will tell you what I know.

Take A gallon jug put 1 quart annie in drop in 500 crushed pills, strip 5 lith.batt. put batt in,stir let it quit boiling.

empty 4 cans starter fluid in anouther gallon jug put frist into the 2 jug to dissovle get small plastic bottle put a small hose on it put salt in bottle with a little liquid fire hold hose in fuild till you see snow filter and dry then grab the foil and a lighter and enjoy?

swim sees no reason to explain how swim clean the pills as swim finds that each pill requires its own cleaning regime,,swim will start with his pre-reduction preparations...

for the reduction swim uses a heavy walled 4 litre beer brewing bottle purchased from a home beer brewing shop..

in this goes a rubber stopper,,3 holes,,one for squirting in the eph through an 8mm dia hose that goes into the bottle by 120mm,,so the eph doesnt splatter onto the walls eg; no wastage..

middle hole has 30feet of 8mm dia clear plastic hose which goes to the second story roof as such venting ammonia gas high..

3rd hole has an 5mm dia spring in it,,and the stirring rod...

bottle has 4 large marbles in it to help with the stirring and helps stop bumping..

sodium metal is cut into match stick size pieces and placed into a bowl of hexane, then placed next to overhead stirrer..

quenching dnh2o, 100ml per oz, is in squeezee bottle next to overhead stirrer..

1 litre of hexane in squeezee bottle is placed next to O/H stirrer,,for cleaning insides of bottle in case eph splashes onto bottle wall,and for putting another 50ml into eph squeezee bottle to get that last bit of eph..

eph is in squeezee bottle with 180ml of hexane per oz(hexane is used in the A/B and then ALL water is separated, then eph and hexane poured into squeezee bottle), squeezee bottle is then placed next to O/H stirrer

on multiple cooks,where more than one reduction is occuring(often up to 6 beer brewing bottles are used,swim doesnt like doing more than 200grams per bottle)tubs of luke warm water and rubber stoppers with hose to roof are set up in secure location away from O/H stirrer(when reduction finished swim takes bottle to tub and restoppers it and then goes onto next bottle)



ammonia bottle has 3 foot of hose attached to outlet valve,,and ammonia bottle is upside down approx 2 feet off ground..

bottle placed on ground and ammonia hose placed in..

valve is turned partially on so a quick dribble goes into the bottle(bottle is marked on outside in 100ml increments going up to 2.5litres)(for a 200gram cook swim uses about 1.5 litres,,for a 2oz cook id use 600 to 700ml)when ammonia reaches 1.5litre mark ammonia turned off..

bottle taken and placed under O/H stirrer and sodium metal is dropped in, in one gram increments(approx 30 grams placed in)rubber stopper is now placed in and bottle is given 5 mins to ice up and for the sodium to dissolve..

stirring rod going through rubber stopper is connected to O/H stirrer and turned on to low speed..

eph is squirted in with hexane in small increments(this can take 15 to 25 mins)50ml more hexane is poured into eph squeezee bottle and squeezee bottle shaken to get all eph, this is squirted in,if eph on bottle walls,another 50ml goes into squeezee bottle and walls squirted down..

eph entry hose through rubber stopper is now closed with artery forceps clamping over the hose..

O/H stirrer is now put on high speed and left running for 20mins exactly..(if during that 20mins no blue is visible,2grams of sodium is placed in, and is repeated as needed)

after 20min, O/H stirrer is turned off and bottle rubber stopper is removed..

dnh2o is squirted in to quench and dissolve unwanted crap...

bottle is moved to warm water tub and connected to another hose leading to roof, water temp is raised slowly to hot untill all ammonia is evaporated..

contents of bottle is poured through light filter leaving water and hexane in separatory funnel, water is separated and discarded..

bottle is washed with 50ml of hexane and poured through filter..

another 100ml of hexane is poured through filter catching that last bit of meth..

hexane is then poured through funnel with drying agent..

gas generator is set up,,swim uses sulphuric acid dripping into hydrochloric acid to make the gas..

hexane is gassed for 20seconds ONLY

then filtered..

then regassed filtering each time(it may take 5 gassings before no more meth prcipitates out)..

what is in filter is dried,washed in dnh2o,dried and then 150ml of new hexane is added to it, this is then gassed and collected in filter..

all meth is collected and recrystalized using methanol(the slow way,3 hours allowing methanol to cool to room temp,5 hours in fridge,,then 6 hours in freezer)..

swim thinks thats all,,if swim remembers anything else swim will post it,,

swim hopes this is of some use...

swim doesnt know if this is the right forum(annie related) for this,,if it isnt please bump it to the right one..

swim doubts he has ever found two cooks who gas the same,,everyone over time works out there own personal technique,,swim doesnt feel there is right or wrong in many of the different methods used and described,,there is what works,,and what doesnt work,,

swim uses cyclohexane as the NP

swim has two jars with plastic screw top lids..

with a 4mm od dia steel rod, swim heats rod then melts two holes in each lid..

all hose used is 6mm od clear soft plastic tubing..

first hose is 500mm long and goes from the bottom of the sulphuric jar through the lid to the top of the hydrochloric jar(when i say top,,i mean it goes through the lid and into the hydrochloric jar by 5mm)

second hose is 400mm long and goes through the lid of the sulphuric jar and into the jar by 5mm..

3rd hose 500mm long and goes from the lid of the hydrochloric jar(5mm into the jar) to a 300mm long, heavy walled,6mm od, glass tube/pipe(this is the tube/pipe that the gas will come out of, the glass tube makes it easier to manipulate and deliver the gas to the NP whilst allowing swim to stir the NP as well)

the sulphuric jar is filled with 250ml of sulphuric acid..(and sealed airtight by wrapping around lid and jar with electrical tape(where the hoses go through the lid must also be airtight )

the hydrochloric jar is filled with 50ml of hydrochloric acid..(once again this jar must be airtight as do the hoses going through the lid)

the sulphuric jar is placed on a step , so it is 150mm higher than the hydrochloric jar,,

the hydrochloric jar is placed on the ground..

the beaker with the NP is placed on the ground 200mm from the hydrochloric jar..

the 400mm long hose coming from the sulphuric jar and going nowhere,,is taken in the mouth,,and you lightly blow(this pushs the sulphuric acid down the connector hose and into the hydrochloric jar starting a slow drip feed)

pick up the gassing hose/glass tube and watch for the gas to begin(usually 20 to 30 secs)

wait 60secs for the gas to really darken..

now immerse the end of the glass pipe in the NP and stir for 20secs EXACTLY...

remove glass pipe and clamp connector hose with artery forceps(stopping the drip feed)(artery forceps need only be unclamped to start drip feed again)(YOU MUST remove gassing glass pipe from the NP before stopping drip feed or the vacumn created will suck all NP back into hydrochloric jar)

filter all white solids from NP

pour 30ml of clean NP through filter to remove any residual NP still holding product(this NP goes into beaker holding the meth NP)

now regas and refilter NP(you may have to gas and filter NP, 4 to 5 times to precipitate out all meth)(NEVER gas longer than 20secs)(ive read some cooks say that there is no more meth, when you only see a white slurry come out of the NP,,,this white slurry is a part of there meth that has been overgassed and ruined)(with this method there is no more meth when no more comes out)(after finished,if NP was evaporated,it would evap dry with not even a film left over)

the jars may have to be broken down and the acids replaced if doing large cooks

the gas created is woefull so always gas outside

when finished,the acids in the hydrochloric jar is the best weed killer swim has ever seen

swim thinks thats about it,,swim hopes this helps someone
