Here's where swid'd is, after the non-polar/honey he took the non-polar and added half its volume with -> [dh2o/10-15% murry]. Then siphoned the non-polar off and evaporated the dh2o/murry down to a syrup, then added dry acetone swirled and is currently evaporating. There are little white flakes on the bottom currently. Is he on the right track?

P.S He saved all the np's and bases and honey just in case.

Sounds like somethin's happening. You added your lye, until 14 on litmus paper? Did you wash the np after taking it from the polar liquid(lye/dh2o)?? Switrd usually waits until all the water is evapped before washing w/ acetone. Only time will tell though....good luck!

SMART MOVE TO SAVE EVERYTHING!!

Swid'd did the lye/polar->non-polar in three increments, then combined, then added dh2o/acid. After that he seperated the nonp from the dh2o/acid and evaporated the dh20/acid down to a "skin". Then added acetone, then swirled (pyrex dish/bowl), and finally poured it into a jar then put into the freezer. and now he has little dandriff like flakes that are resting at the bottom of the jar/solution.

Is this right?
