Default extracting red phosporus from matchbooks

Hey im new to the site and was wondering if you could help me with a great hinderence to my research. Does anyone know how to extract red phosporus from the striking pads on the back of matchbooks

but good luck on your reasearch, ive alwase wanted to switch the Flamable crap on matchsticks with the Red phosporus.

a person would light the pack on fire insted of his match. It would be fucking hillarious !

Why not just soak the whole paperboard book in a nitrate solution?

Switrd heard some guy telling someone in a grocery store line that all he does is cut the strikers off the book....soaks in 90% iso alcohol for a few minutes. Then the rp should be easily scraped off with a sharp razor. If you want to do a shitload of matchbooks, you'll have to research here in previous posts. This is a common question here and has been addresed many times.

a litlle bit off the topic, where can a beginner chem student, find information on not just the synthesis, but on actaully separating Mau Huang extract from it's buffers ie, Proenzi99?
