Re: Fill in the blanks
brad,
it would appear that our kentucky compadre 46 method, is the oldest of the people whom advise here
im next at 43, i think
then wicked at 42
and from memory theres a couple of others in there 40s who pop in and give good insight...
now forget all that
forget we have 25years more experience in all fields
forget we have 20years more experience in meth
forget everything we say and classify our advice to the turd pile
i ask of you but one thing
when/if you get to 40
look back upon the words spoken to you in this forum
and on reflection, further ponder the wisdom of our years

Ask the FDA if you don't believe me. Does not have anything to do with sarotonin, just dopeamine and adrenaline.
No purmanint brayn damij akurz, just short turm imbalences that evenualy correct themselves natraly.
Ever hear of the [FDA approved] prescription drugs desoxyn and adderal?
The FDA will not approve any brain damageing drugs.

Re: Fill in the blanks
Neversleepy.....when a person is prescribed these drugs, the doseage is tritated to the smallest possible amount to have the required result, and the person is given checkups every 2 to 4 weeks to monitor for side effects. The key to side effects is doeseage. Meth users use much higher doses than doctors prescribe for patients. If any side effects are noted the person is taken off those drugs. The person is not kept on these drugs for any long length of time because of the risk of cardiac damage, central nervous system effects and cardiovascular damage and risks. These are risks from short term use.
The neurotransmitters that produce dopamine and serotonin are damaged with over abuse of meth. Therefore the production of dopamine AND serotonin are effected.

So, Kismet, what positive and negative things could I encounter in a wretling match using (smoking) meth regularly for a little more than two months at around a half gram max per month?

Re: Fill in the blanks
Depending on how much you smoked as to the side effects Brad. At the very least you will suffer the usual....lack of appetite, loss of weight, and insomnia. I know stuff all about wrestling.....but i presume they dont want pip squeaks.....and you need to build up muscle and stamina i presume? You wont build muscle by not eating the right type of foods. You wont build stamina by not sleeping properly.
SWIK only smokes meth on the very rare occassion that she has the pleasure of a very special and wonderful man who thinks she talks shit......i suffer no side effects from it except a bugger of a hangover the next day. Long term side effects would be minimal with the amount you say.
But in reality....after smoking it regularly for two months.....would you be able to give it up? Would you be able to deal with the depression that coming off meth gives you after regular use (damage to neurotransmitters)? Would your mates and your wrestling coach be able to tolerate your mood swings while you are on the meth?? Do you have drug tests if you are in a wrestling team?? Lots of againsts Brad.....the only good effect i can think of is the initial feeling of confidence. Pit that against the loss of muscle tone and the lack of stamina due to lack of sleep and not eating right, and you havent got much chance of staying in any wrestling team.

You can talk until you are blue in the face
about synaptic gapsters, but how many people
listen to their elders at the age of 15? The more you preach about the effects of this drug, the more the attention deficit takes over. Hopefully, Brad might retain some of this analytical insight about the physiological do's and don't of this drug.
Peer pressure, family relationships, augmenting hormonal changes are a part of becoming an adult. Maybe testing for a bi-polar disorder or simple depression might alter Brad's perception of life as a 15 year
old. Until Brad's ready, all of this psycho-
babble is just that! Later on

Wait, how again does desoxyephedrine inhbit neurotransmitter damage? Doesnt your system naturaly (or holistically) rebalance the chemical inbalance. Kismet explain to me what you specificly mean by "damage" Kismet.
I have probably consumed upward at least 5 pounds of methamphetamine (estimate) in my life and believe no neural damage to have occured. I maintain a good social life, I work, I go to school, im happy and a feel healthy. I beleive in the old proverb "Mind over matter".
Beleif in yourself superscedes anything someone else reiterates!

Damage to neurotransmitters?!
From regular use?! I respectfully disagree. I am prescribed Desoxyn and I can safely say that regular use of pharmaceutical methamphetamine is no different in detrimence to ones neurons than streetmade methamphetamine except for one aspect.
And that is the Rx-meth is 100% non-toxic in composition. Whereas streetmade is almost always with impurities too taxing to ones fluid filters(livers & kidneys) to not be a burden and eventual more times than not, cause for cancerous growth in ones body.
But if one produces ones own meth and does so where it is of a finished product that is refined and relative to that of say; Desoxyn's non-toxicity, then you will find that the usual dosage is comparable to my dosage on Rx-meth which is 60-75 miligrams(1/4 of 1/4-gram).
There are well documented clinical studies of narcoleptics who are/were prescribed methamphetamine for 40+ years with successful and therapeutic results where the pharmocological effects were reliable and unsurpassed in the efficacy of pharmacuetical methamphetamine preventing their neurologically defective brains from triggering their false sense of needing to sleepfrom doing so.
Same efficacy applies to those of us who are neurologically defunct with Attention Deficit Disorder.
The main damge done with street meth is done as a result of its toxic impurities.
But regular usage will not necessarily or hardly ever result in damage to ones neurotransmitters.

"regular use of methamphetamine will damage neuron cell endings. They do not die, but the terminals are cut back, and regrowth is limited"
That is a quote from a meth info page that is readily available from the internet Jam...it also states that studies that go back as far as 20 years prove this fact.
Im not going to argue to a meth user in a meth forum about the pros and cons of using meth.....you guys I dare say are all well aware of the side effects and the damage it can cause.
In regards to the people that are on meth for "40 plus years" to cure narcolepsy.....these people have a chemical imbalance that taking meth cures. Normal people who smoke meth dont have this chemical imbalance and therefore suffer the damage.
I was just trying to enlighten Brad the damage that meth can do to him.......and i hope he listens to the sensible ones like kirby who at least acknowledge the fact that potenitial for harm is there.

Kismet you obviously don't know the true facts about meth.
Any info you find that says meth causes ANY brain damage, rots teeth, kills, made of poisonous chems ect ect is misimformation.
It doesn't matter how much you abuse it, no damage occurs.
I can go find dr. shulgan ramblings to back my word but whos to know if he is correct?
I do know FOR A FACT that the FDA will not approve of ANY food or drug that causes ANY type of permanent brain damage.
Obviously meth and amph have been approved so............NUFF SAID ABOUT IT.
Kirby im ashamed of you for sideing with misinformation.

Re: Fill in the blanks
Brad.....NIDA (national institute for drug abuse) found in a research project that meth users who HADNT used the drug for varying lengths of time......2 weeks to 21 months.....found abnormal brain chemistry in all 3 areas of the brain.
There is one chemical they measured called N-acetyl-aspartate. It was reduced by at least 5% in meth users. Many diseases such as Alzheimers, stroke and epilepsy are also associated with decreased levels of this chemical. Decreased amounts of N-acetyl-aspartate in the areas of the brain in long term meth users indicates damage to brain cells
The study also shows an increase in glial cells, which are cells that support neurons (which help brain function). An increase in these cells supports the fact that neurons are damaged because they are trying to get nonexistant or damaged neurons to function properly.
So there ya go brad....thats the beginning of the sort of thing that occurs with long term meth abuse....and its a proven fact (sticking my tongue out at you neversleepy)
NIDA also state that short term effects include increased heart rate and blood pressure which can cause irreversable damage to blood vessels in the brain which could make you more vunerable to strokes as you get older. It can also cause an irregular heart beat and respiratory problems which can result in cardiovascular collapse. And thats short term use.
Now the guys on here are going to argue with me....which is fine. They arent going to admit they have any problems.....and the ones that have the major problems certainly havent got the coordination to even type let alone speak in a lab forum....but the point is Brad......you have the option now as to whether to risk all this happening to you...maybe not now..but maybe in 5 years or even more....you can be mature about it and make an informed decision or you can plead ignorant and go for short term gain (in your case...confidence).

Re: Fill in the blanks
Homer...here is my short story. But hey, I'm not preaching...I know how it is. When started spending all my extra cash, I was probably 13. I know, I know...Switrd was screwed before I'd finished Jr. High school. I didn't have much money to spend either. But I got high anyway. I just happened to hang out with the right(wrong) people. I had an uncle introduce me. Pretty wonderful ehh?? Anyway, the morale of this short story is...I am here today. In the beginning I did on rare occasions, maybe twice a month. But I found myself deserting my other friends, and driving these older dopeheads around...(I was the only legitimate one with a drivers license.) Do you get it yet? They in return would kick me a lil bump or whatever. Well from there it was all downhill, with no brakes. Now I'm 29 and married with two children. Still in it. My life isn't in complete shambles, and I've never been to prison...*knocks on wood* but there are things that have happened, situations I hardly remember....that I wish I had. Also worst of all, I put my parents through hell and back. So bee careful, and do like rainman says..."Do the dope...don't let the dope do you!"

Re: Fill in the blanks
Damn, I cleared out all my caches, so I had to manually login. Had to struggle to remember my password. Must be all that meth.
This is a strange thread. Is this the norm for discussion now? We got kiddies playin games and coal squeezers gettin wound up so tight they can pop out 10 carats every fifteen minutes. Speaking of which,
kismet, what's your story? You seem to be very anti meth. I'm not getting a very good picture though. I've been away for a while, real life just hasn't allowed any playtime for gogo.
As far as the topic goes (I think), I believe I agreed with everyone in one way or another.
Neurotoxic effects? Anything that you wash with toluene, xylene, acetone.....that's enough, isn't it?
Kirb, I guess I'm number four in age rank, but I'm weighing in at a tie with you for number one when considering the added years that adversity applies.
Sleepy--
Most excellent stoner\brain damaged syntax, but I'd be willing to bet the farm that nobody here ever has or will come close to manufacturing the kind of product that the FDA approves.
I'm just going down the line here. Kissy--
Kirb says you're fresh out of school. I remember when I was fresh out of school. It won't take you long to realize that "the other side" lies and spreads propaganda a hell of a lot more than "our side" does.
Brad, Brad, Brad--
Half a gram a month?????
Why bother? I'd be happy if I could convince SWIM to get down to a half a gram a day.
There again, kis, you are describing that nasty CRANK. Good meth, even if it's full of carcinogenic impurities, doesn't cause all of those side effects. If it's real, you can eat, sleep, shower normally. No hangover, no speed bumps. You have a point about the "fuck the quitting" and the depression. Half gram Brad wouldn't have a problem with any of the aspects you mention. Bump that number up to about a half ounce to an ounce and you may be able to go a few rounds.
(If you don't have a clue what I'm talking about, just follow the thread. I am.)
Sparkel--only 5 pounds? You must be younger than I thought.
Jam, dude you have never had anything that was made in a clandestine lab that has been refined and relative to the non toxicity of desoxyn. Lets get real. Everybody who makes this shit uses highly toxic chemicals that most definitly leave trace amounts in the cleanest of products and there probably isn't more than 5% of it that can even be called the "cleanest of products".
Do damaged neurons have the ability to regrow terminal endings? Hmmmm, I'll have to look into that.
Bingo!, there it is. Never, ever, ever, believe anything big brother has to say on a meth info page. Pure propaganda. Laughable bullshit. If you truly are intelligent, regard those idiots as in the same class as the national inquirer. I haven't done the calculations, but it looks like Sparkel has been doing meth for the equivelant of about 350 years, and he ain't dead yet, are ya Sparkie!
Harm, shwarm. Look around you. You risk your life every time you get behind the wheel of your car these days. When you look at the big picture, the threat to your health and life are quite minimal.
Handondictomy, that's only funny if it's handonyourowndictomy. As long as it's never handonmydictomy, you won't have to worry about nohandnodicktopee.
YeeeeeeeHawwwwwwwww!!!!!
Sleepy, I'm glad you brought up the subject of long term use and abuse. I absolutely agree that the meth won't cause any of those things, but the change in priorities sure will. Kis, what you apparently don't know is first hand knowledge about the life of the long term abuser, not user, abuser. That is definitely a good thing. The reason all of those health problems are manifested, is not because of the drug, but more because of the attention, or lack thereof, to routine health maintenance. Most abusers have 60-72 hour days instead of 24. It's easy to forget to brush your teeth two or three times every 24 hours when you are busy doing........whatever. Apply that to many body maintenance practices and you can easily and quickly become "unhealthy" to say the least.
Oh, yeah, sleepy do you use acetone or toluene or xylene? How about TCE, all poisonous chems.
Well, looks like its time to go. I'll try to get back and see what ya'll have to say, if anything. Sorry I didn't have time to get all the way through the thread, but it's kinda long and I'm just a wee bit behind.

I was never arguing with you, kis. SWIM is around a long time tweeka once and a while that still smokes atleast 3/8g a day. He has no noticable tweeker side affects and being blunt, is very smart. Like some of you, just never been around the production.
Yea, I know a 1/2g a month isnt very much...Do you maybe now know why I was getting so irritated with all the parent type lecturing I was getting. Im glad most of that has subsided now and please dont bring it up anymore.

Sorry but for once I must say this is a good post going on Totse. First off I must agree with Kismit and no I dont give a durn about her boobs or that even shes a women. She seems to have valid points which I will say I agree with fully so lets not call her stupid. The majority of the users I know have suffered damage and I work with these monkeys everyday so I can tell you. Granted the drugs did them, they did not do the drugs. Sorry but for the majority most users are this way. Most people simply are weak in nature, dont get pissed Im not talking about you guys, some people are just stronger willed than others.I dont see anyharm in drugs in moderation the same as you guys. There are many things in this world that are harmful and I personally DO believe the FDA will approve harmful chemicals. The key here is moderation. Sacchrin found in diet sodas-its a proven carcinogen but damn the FDA lets us drink the shit. We arent consumeing the amounts they pump into labrats so some of us live cancer free lives. Ive seen users of meth that prosper in society and no one is the wiser and Ive seen those who lose everything. You cant blame the drugs, its the person who abuses them.

So youve got bad breath, body odour, malnutrition, and 72 hour days......but its not because of the meth...its just because your a lazy bastard and cant be bothered showering.... Is that what your saying ??

Bill's hygiene is impeccable! Once every month, Bill's wife hoses him down and cleans him up with comet and a brush. Those fingernails need some work, Bill. His teeth are pearly white cause Bill keeps em in a jar
beside his bed soakin in bourbon. Makes his breath smell aromatic to say the least. Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Anything less, would be a sin. lol

Re: Fill in the blanks
Okay Kismet I wont believe what Kirb says about his gardener, though I must say so far he seems to speak the truth. So anyway Bachelor of Science of what. here that could be a billion of things.By the way I have 72 hour days does that make me lazy dirty bastard. I hope not cause its certainly not meth related. Sure I spent time learning but on my honor Ive never done more than prescription pills. No one believes that one because I act like a nut but I havent even touched weed(OOOOOOh the breakthrough drug). I unfortunately seem to suffer from insomnia, hence why Im posting at 8am. Some people intentionaly hallucinate with shrooms or acid and I get the free route. Trust me stay up for 3 days and tell me what weird shit you see. Makes for an interesting drive to Canada I must say. I wont ever try acid, hell DXM was bad enough. That and the fact I get my free trip about every 3 days. For the love of god all I want is to sleep.

Cigaretts/pot dont cause brain damage, alcohol was never approved for consumption by the fda nor could they stop it if they wanted.

Re: Fill in the blanks
Sleepy......aldactone....commonly used diuretic. Over use can cause mental confusion, and dehydration, which could lead to cardiac collapse. Its also a carcinogenic in large doseages. Thats one off the top of my head at 6.15 in the morning. I'll get back to you with a shit load more this afternoon if you really want me to.
Actually......no i wont. You've got two hands and a heart beat.....go pick up any regulated pharmacology book or look in any of those little pieces of paper you get in the box when you get a new prescription drug, and you will see the side effects overdosing or prolonged use of some of them that can occur.
And any person who thinks that smoking and alcohol doesnt cause damage.......is ignorant.

Gotta disagree with the pot kirby. I never smoked my 7th grade year and started in 8th, only like 3 grams a week, but my grades were better in 8th than 7th. Marijuana more or less tickles your brain cells, not kill them.

Re: Fill in the blanks
i have come to the conclusion brad that you are misinformed, have absolutley NO experience with drugs other than the childs play version. as a marijauna user for almost 30 years i can tell you it effects you fact up. short term memory comes to mind 1st and foremost not to mention damage to lungs cardio system and several others that i cant remember lol. i grew pot for 13 years before a snitch ended that ride. fortunatley i live in a state that its a slap on the wrist offense more or less. around here i was known as the king of dope especially after it was printed in the paper that i was busted for 24 plants that dried out to 7.2 pounds. preserved for evidence dry too, not that wet street shit people sell. colas the size of coffee cans, yea thats what im fuckin talkin about. northern lights 5/skunk1/ cross if memory serves (which it prolly dont) but known the world over as matanuska thunderfuck by people in the know of these things. alaskas finest bud. also 2 hitter gotta quit her. M39 in the originol seed catalog. im sure Jam can back me up on this or at the very least straighten out my foggy memory. i quit pot almost a year ago now after smokin 1/8 to 1/4 oz a day steady for over 10 years. didnt realize how foggy i was untill i got it out of my system. some clarity has returned can think clearer now than i ever remember being able to but trust me you never get it all back. if your gonna post things you THINK you know here back it up with facts cuz you can bet we will.

Re: Fill in the blanks
Kismet that diuretic does not cause any brain damage. Symptoms of overdose are one thing, brain damage is another.
A stroke can cause brain damage with or without the help of blood pressure meds.
Go back to school and learn some more comercialized bullshit why dont ya.
I only wish I knew back then what I know now so I could challenge the D.A.R.E. officer back in school to all the lies they told us to not get involved with drugs.

Re: Fill in the blanks
ok sleepy....a diuretic may not give you brain damage directly if you take too much of it....but it can cause stroke or cardiac arrest. Does that mean you will intentionally take an overdose only cause you know it wont directly kill off the few neurons you obviously have remaining?
Astrix....a common antithrombotic will give you brain damage if taken in large amounts....and its an approved drug.
Stemital.....a common antiemetic can cause brain damage if taken in large amounts....and it to is an approved drug.
The trouble is sleepy....the symptom of an overdose IS brain damage in a lot of cases...no matter what form this brain damage appears in....whether it be tardive dyskinesia...respiratory depression.....fitting....any number of things.
Your statement that approved drugs dont cause brain damage is so off the mark its obvious you dont know what your talking about.
While you choose to remain uneducated in the use and damage meth can do and even unreceptive to any attempts to enlighten you......thats your choice. Kids starting out using this stuff like Brad need intelligent input and facts....not ignorance.

Brad..have you seen a pot user with the shakes?? Thats brain damage. Have you seen a pot users short term memory shit itself?? thats brain damage. Just cause it didnt happen to you in 8th grade..doesnt mean its not gonna happen in 2 years time.
If your using pot/meth now for "better grades"....or even as a confidence booster....heaven help you when your out of school and in the real world. Yay! i get the last word!
Short-term effects of using marijuana include:
Sleepiness
Difficulty keeping track of time, impaired or reduced short-term memory
Reduced ability to perform tasks requiring concentration and coordination, such as driving a car
Increased heart rate
Potential cardiac dangers for those with preexisting heart disease
Bloodshot eyes
Dry mouth and throat
Decreased social inhibitions
Paranoia, hallucinations
Impaired or reduced short-term memory
Impaired or reduced comprehension
Altered motivation and cognition, making the acquisition of new information difficult
Paranoia
Psychological dependence
Impairments in learning, memory, perception, and judgment - difficulty speaking, listening effectively, thinking, retaining knowledge, problem solving, and forming concepts
Intense anxiety or panic attacks
Long-term effects of using marijuana include:
Enhanced cancer risk
Decrease in testosterone levels and lower sperm counts for men
Increase in testosterone levels for women and increased risk of infertility
Diminished or extinguished sexual pleasure
Psychological dependence requiring more of the drug to get the same effect
But hey....your right sleepy...it doesnt cause brain damage.

Re: Fill in the blanks
Kismet to answer your question from earlier. Seriously no meth in my system and 3 days without sleep is not my average. Usually its closer to only 2 days. I hate the 3 day ones though because eventually I just crash and nothing wakes me up. I will say its scary to be driving along or at work when all the sudden my body says "enough you bastard its time to sleep." Im not sure what causes this in me, doctors dont know either. I was given a hynotic type sleeping pill and it didnt help. Instead since I couldnt sleep it caused me to have mental blackouts from while it was in my system. Im not sure why I dont sleep, it seems the days I do sleep Im awake again within 3 hours. I actually function fine on three hours so I just live with it though it proves to be a miserable torment. And no Kirby there is pork in my diet, trust me Im certainly not sexually frusterated.

Re: Fill in the blanks
Livin in L.A. can give you brain damage and
cause lung cancer just from the polluted air!
I have never seen anyone shake from smokin pot, maybe from not havin a drink
but not from pot! I do believe any substance
in abundance will cause damage or death, but
not in moderation. Talk about the good things
from marijuana. Relieving pressure for glaucoma patients and helping chemotherapy patients from acute nausea! Being able to eat
for strength and nourishment after a bout with chemo! Btw, have you ever had chemo? It's no fun! If it wasn't for pot, Bill would have never made it. Bill's doctor encouraged smoking the bad ass weed, to help
Bill regain strength due to loss of appetite
after chemotherapy. Being a RN, you should
already know of this blessing from nature that literally saved my life. My disease was
Hodgkin's lymphoma, thanks to radiation chemo
and marihoochie, Bill is still alive today!

Re: Fill in the blanks
yea bill....i do understand it...and i sympathise.
Your talking medicinal.....as i talked medicinal with meth in regards to narcolepsy.
And i have seen people shake from smoking pot. I have seen a person smoke pot every day to help ease the pain in his leg from a busted knee.....trouble is he couldnt stop smoking it once his knee was fixed...or he chose not to. He went from a nice guy to an absolute prick in an hour because of dope...each and every night. Hes the type of guy that risks all the above effects.
Ive helped a terminal person out of the hospital and into a public area so they can smoke pot to help them ease the pain they were going through.
But a doctor will tell you moderation....and he will also tell you to stop using it once your chemo is over and you have gained your strength back. If you have a terminal disease and it helps you with the pain....then i would be the first person to suggest you keep smoking it. But for a normal healthy person to just keep on smoking pot or meth on a regular basis for no reason other than the fact that it makes him feel good....then im sorry, but he's the one whos going to end up with the damage. And hes the one im talking about in this thread.

Re: Fill in the blanks
Ive never seen or heard of someone getting the shakes from smoking pot. And I also said it didnt cause brain damage, and 99% of the time, memory loss is only while on the drug.
You're crazy if you though I smoked pot to help my grades, I simply stated that to show it did not affect my grades. I do not smoke meth to help my grades either. And I have been marijuana clean for 5 months.

Re: Fill in the blanks
[QUOTE]Originally posted by kismet:

Kismet, did you get this whole pile of steaming bullshit from dea.org or freevibe.com???
Sleepiness
[b]Yea, it can make you drowsy, but not as much as xanax will.
Difficulty keeping track of time, impaired or reduced short-term memory
Time slows to a crawl while smoking cannabis, so you think its later than it really is. It can really supirs you when you think it has to be 10:30 when its only 9:40. The scond statement it true, but its not permanent. A good nights sleep can take care of that
Reduced ability to perform tasks requiring concentration and coordination, such as driving a car
In my opinion, anyone who tries to drive a car, operate machinery, or even ride a bike for that matter while under the infulence of ANY chemical is a idiot. Pure and simple
Increased heart rate
Is usally not enough to be bothersome, but if have got something on your mind (like you mom is gonna be pick you up in 5 minutes), then yes, it can. Its mostly due to anxiety that makes it noticeable. If your relaxed, theres nothing to worry about here
Potential cardiac dangers for those with preexisting heart disease
see above
Bloodshot eyes
More common with strains of indica, this is usally one of the first dead giveaways your on something. This is good for people with glacoma (the reason why your eyes are red is bacause the blood vessles behind your eyes dont become so restricted, allowing more blood flow) because it releaves pressure.
Dry mouth and throat
Ahh, the agony of cottonmouth. Of course, i notice cottonmouth after i smoke a camel non-filtered. The reason why its so distinct with bud is because of your your senses become defined.
Decreased social inhibitions
Is that sapossed to be a bad thing? More social=more popular. And face it: In the real world, were all attention whores
Paranoia, hallucinations
Paranoia=fear of getting caught. If this was legal (like it should have been 30 years ago) then paranioa would be a thing in the past.
hallucinations??? The hell??? Have youu been watching too much Reefer Madness? Of course, with people that have underlying pyhcological (spelling aint my best subject) problems like Schitzophrenia or mixed with other drugs, MAYBE, but otherwise, bullshit to the max.
Impaired or reduced short-term memory
[b]You said that before you damn pothead!
Impaired or reduced comprehension
Cant say i ever had this happen to me. I uderstand what people say just fine while high
Altered motivation and cognition, making the acquisition of new information difficult
Drunks have this problem too
Paranoia
I am CONVINCED this was made by a stoner... (you said "Inpaired short term meory and paranioa twice!!!)
Psychological dependence
Could be for some people. However, the "Withdraw" isint agonizing.
Impairments in learning, memory, perception, and judgment - difficulty speaking, listening effectively, thinking, retaining knowledge, problem solving, and forming concepts
You said this before, i answered it before
Intense anxiety or panic attacks
These dont happen out of the blue. A sudden jolt (Like a cop knocking on your door) or uncoming situation which you have reason to be fearfull (you know your moms coming in 5 minutes) Can do this. Again, its because of probition.
Long-term effects of using marijuana include:
Enhanced cancer risk
If it causes canvcer, then why do doctors pescribe or recomend it to patients who HAVE cancer??? And besides, everything causes cancer now. THe air your beathing right now has chemicals trhat can cause cancer. Well done burgers can cause cancer. Burning plastic causes cancer... See where im going?
Decrease in testosterone levels and lower sperm counts for men
true, but not enough to affect you. Look at all the stoners dropping babies like no tomarrow...
Increase in testosterone levels for women and increased risk of infertility
Oh im sorry, i though this was discussion about cannbis, i didnt know this was gonna be a paint huffing party. where did you find the boatload of bullshit???
Diminished or extinguished sexual pleasure
Sometimes, but only when you STONeD. When your stoned, you will be lucky to find you own feet. The only way to get you mind on sex is if your girlfriend put a 2 big fucking hearshy bars on her tits
Psychological dependence requiring more of the drug to get the same effect
tolerance. yes, marijuna has it, but not to the effect as other drugs like meth and cocaine. I was an everyday potsmoker for a year, and i only noticed a VERY SLIGHT tolerance. I still got the same high, but not as long as usual.
there you go. my 2c's to your outlandish accucations against My sweet, sweet mary.

Re: Fill in the blanks
Speed rebel.....in most of those replies from my "outlandish bullshit" you have actually agreed with what ive stated from proven medical research....youve just tried to justify it.
Sleepiness: "yea it can make you drowsy" No big deal you reckon?? Most people feel it makes you a social drop out....unless of course you hang out with other doing exactly the same thing....makes for a fun night everybody sitting around zonked.
Difficulty keeping track of time: again, you agree.
Reduced ability to perform tasks etc etc: you agree.
Increased heart rate: you agree. But when i state increased heart rate, it doesnt just mean your heart is beating faster, it means that your cardiovascular system is under stress...it has the potential to be overloaded....which puts you at risk for not only heart attacks, but strokes, respiratory problems and a whole shit more.
Potential for cardiac dangers: again, your right....see above.
Blood shot eyes: again, your right. And thankyou for the medical lesson regarding the cause for the glaucoma. One good reason to smoke dope....in moderation, is to relieve glaucoma......but not a good look if you dont have glaucoma.
Dry mouth: you agree.
Decreased social inhibitions: you agree, and very true in what you say...we all want to be popular. But doing things that make us popular is not always a good thing. You will understand what im saying when you have kids of your own.
Paranoia and hallucinations: you agree in relation to the paranoia but laugh it off. Fine.....as to the hallucinations being bullshit.....thats obviously your personal experience....lucky you. Ive been around people giggling cause they see spiders crawling up the walls....funny if your stoned, but you look like an idiot to the straight ones.
Impaired or short term memory loss: i did not say that before....and dont call me a pothead, ive got more sense.
Impaired comprehension: again your stating personal experience. The whole scientific world doesnt evolve around your experiences.
Altered motivation and cognition etc: You agree.
Paranoia....your correct. I did say it twice. I apoligise for having to make you stretch your cognitive skills to the test.
Psychological independance: you agree.
Withdrawal isnt agonising....thats a good thing...right?
Impairments in learning, judgement, speaking, problem solving etc: yes, i said it before, but with different big words. Sort of just trying to get my point across. But again, you agreed anyway.
Anxiety or panic attacks: you agree. No matter what the reason, they do occur. Not a nice way to feel every time somebody knocks on your door.
Enhanced cancer risk: what a stupid response from you. Short term use doesnt cause cancer. Long term use does. Read the response properly before you make remarks. If it eases the pain people with a terminal disease feel, then i say use it.
Decreased testosterone and sperm count: you agree...but i dont understand when you say "not enough to effect you". You state that "stoners drop babies like no tomorrow"......its the ones in their late 30's that are trying to have kids but cant that you dont hear about. And i pity the poor babies that are a product of "stoners"...not a good beginning to life for these kids. Grow up.
Increased testosterone in woman and increased risk of infertility: laugh at it if you will, but its a fact...its not bullshit. Come up with some research for me that states the otherwise instead of just calling it bullshit cause you turn a blind eye. And lets see you laugh at the couples who desperately want a baby but cant have one due to decreased fertility due to smoking dope.
Decreased sexual pleasure: you agree.
Dependance: again you agree.
There YOU go. Thats MY response to your outlandish reply. Actually, it wasnt really an arguement on your behalf......you agreed with what i said.

Well brother Jam must be flying around on the other side of cloud sector 9 tonight. Venturing out in public and eating. LOL
Shall we all not forget the union of Taco Bell and Colonel Cluck Cluck. Now if they would only relocate to a Burger Barn, it would be a one stop shop of tasty treats to satisfy the rapidly spreading nationwide fast food addiction. Which is just as harmful to our bodies if not worse than drugs. But it is OK it is legal.
