How does one properly dispose of ether? I looked, and could not find. Thank you for your time.

Re: ether disposal
Well there are seveeral ways, tkae it to your local hazardous waste disposal company, this will cost you. Or you might have a paint/solvent recycling depot in your community. Or you could burn it, be careful gow you do this. Or you could mix it with waste oil and return it to a automotive oil recycling center to be refined.

Re: ether disposal
What would be a safe way to burn it? How often does waste oil come from cars? Out of what part of the car does it come? Thank you.

Re: ether disposal
When you change the oil in your car, that's waste oil.

Re: ether disposal
A safe place to burn it would be in a firepit in someones back yard in very small ammounts at a time. Just like burning gasoline. Don't dump it on a flame, you need to pour it light it and then let it burn out. This is boring but at least no one will get all excited and no one will get hurt.
Waste oil comes from cars out of the oil pan everytime you change the oil, which is around every 5000-10000 kms.
