SWIM`s runner came home with a different bottle of tincture today and SWIM is needin to run it like NOW lol. you guys that know me know that i always search before askin stupid questions however time is of the essence at this point and SWIM would greatly appreciate it if you guys (or gals)would throw him a bone here. on the bottle it says:

STRONGER IODINE TINCTURE 7%

CONTAINS:

Iodine .................7% w/v

Potassium Iodine .......5% w/v

Isopropyl Alcohol(99%)..82% v/v

Water...................q.s.

can SWIM obtain his crystals from this tincture?

swim would try the 1 part io 3 parts hydro perx, muratic let sit n see since swig has the bottle anyway may as well try it out, i dont see why it wouldnt even with potas io in it... should be seeable/smellable to judge if it worked or not?

swim sees a problem if its PROVoDINE io. do not try that shit, gummy ass crap in the end...

SWIM appreciates your input RNX however SWIM is not a new bee at this game. SWIM has been in it over 20 years. the method you posted is an old method that has since been revamped with less peroxide and double the yields as that what you posted. (see my thread called "here it all is 3 steps" SWIM knows all about povidone etc. SWIM wants to know specificly if the listed ingrediants will work by someone that HAS tried it. not old recipies that are out of date lol. SWIM does thank you for taking your time to try and help tho.

Swiwr, that's the standard stuff anyone can get at the feedstore for horses, and yes, it works fine-or so i've heard. There's an extraction method on rhodium that swim dreamt of using, and the yields were comparable to those gained by the other method you posted.

strong iodine tincture 7%

topical antiseptic

act ingr:

iodine=7%w/v

Potassium iodine=5%w/v

iso alch(99%)=82%w/v

inert ingr.=h2o (no %)

got 40.31g of nice xtals dried and still haven't cleaned out stocking filter (letting it sit in jar/salt) or second h2o2 add.

here is what swirl did in order: 1pt Iodine, 25ml hcl stirred in and let sit 5 min., 500ml dh20 while stirring then 12oz h2o2 while stirring and kept stirring for 10 min.. closed lid and shook like hell while walking to a box that 1 gal jar fits in, then put in closet for 12 hr. done the rest just like your thread. done!

thanks kman, SWIM is used to seeing a bottle that just says 7% iodine tincture with no pottassium iodine so he just wanted to make sure. SWIM is following his method that he posted in other threads and it does seem to be commin along just fine looks same, smells same, blah blah blah

Damn are we all sitting here on puter as everything is getting ready for a dream. waiting on damn e to dry out. hope to start a dream quickly but not till everything is ready and dry.

not the 1st time either is it bro? how long you gonna let the stew simmer? SWIM is gonna do a 30 hour reduction. come this time sunday SWIM will have to hire a translater to understand himself lol im sure you seen that SWIM is workin a new extraction for the DG 60`s using TCE and japan drier half the hassle of the straight to E half the time and NO heating of solvents. keep in mind it only works so far as ive been told on the DG white 60`s. SWIM is fixing to evap the 3rd pull and after that crash all 3 scrapings with acetone. as soon as he is done he will post the method with a complete writeup and results. so far tho its looking most excellent. SWIM would like to thank wareami over at CH2 for the heads up on this new extraction technique for the DG 60`s it totally kicks the orange gakk to the curb and results in beautiful white pfed crystals. when SWIM is done he will make a new thread, keep your eyes open.

well wicked some dumass must be too Ice'd and forgot to get tubing to go thru the stopper. (Look's around to make sure no one is looking). well it will just give longer to dry. everything is laid out in it's on filter waiting to be added into the stew. 25g e, 11g mbrp, 40 +g i2. lavalamp is all cleaned and dry and just waiting for the stew to be added. guess unless swiW has other opions the stew will go for 30hr with a 11gRP/20gE/20gI2 and 25ml dh2o having a neddle in tube to add dh2o as shooter has suggested. been told to go 1/3&1&1&1ml. since this is first really "big" rxn got fingers crossed.

will be sitting in depot parking at 7am sharp. make stop in McD drive thru and back to house and hope to start at 7:30am.

this long time is what swirl will have to get used to. can' do 115g all in all out in 12hr tops like with the lady(bitch).

but at least the lady is still around from last dance as well as a Ice strom that hit on wed..
