quality digital scales
I'm breaking down and buying a digital scale, after the necessity of it so very many times. I'm just in need of some recommendations. I've searched around many sites to find prices ($100-200) and have found some good deals, good to me anyway. I just would like some recommendations on what brand to get or perhaps some good links to cheap but quality scales. I'm not too keen on what's good and what's not, so I just need help choosing a good brand scale, thanks. I'm looking to spend around $150 but if I have to I might could pull out $200 if necessary... although $100 is nice also.
EDIT : I am really wanting to get a 0.001 accurate scale, but I'm not even sure if that'd fit in the $100-200 range... so if I have to I guess I'll go with 0.01g or maybe a 0.005g

Re: quality digital scales
A scale that accurate will be in the thousands-not hundreds-of dollars range.

Re: quality digital scales
if that is all you're willing to spend on a scale. You most probably won't be able to afford a decent digital. Prehaps, you might consider a triple beam.
OHAUS is a good brand.
for most purposes 0.1 - 0.01 is accurate enough.

Re: quality digital scales
perhaps you could go buy a 5gram weight from a scales shop so you have a known weight which you know to be correct,,,then hit the second hand stores,,they always have electronic scales going dirt cheap,,,use your 5 gram weight to make sure any scales you do select is calibrated correctly
