Just wondering if anybody here has had any experience with sniffer dogs?

Can they smell meth if its like in the middle of a frozen meat pie, or hidden amongst your scented soap ?

Also, does coffee really mask the smell, or have they figured that one out by now ?

I had my car sniffed out during a "routine traffic stop" and the dog failed to detect a thing. And this was a cannabis siuation, not meth. But, the dog only sniffed from the outside. Three times around.

Dogs do indeed have a sophisticated sense of smell, and will detect most illegal substances through whatever it's wrapped up in. Humans might be fooled by coffee, but any LE officers would be suspicious. And coffee (or meat pies) won't fool a dog's nose at all.

i believe vaccuum sealed packages would conceal the smell.

Dogs can detect odors through several layers of vacuum sealing, under the right circumstances.

What do you reckon a sniffer dogs reaction would be too a lip balm stick made with lemon juice & have a couple pills (e's) hidden in the middle of it ?

Ofcourse the pills would be wrapped in gladwrap.

hrmm ..good question ..but cindy is right .,.dogs sense of smell is incredible... you can never be sure what a sniffer dog will pick up or miss ..sometimes its just luck of the draw i think and some dogs are probably better than others..but they are trained to pick up smells such as napthalien and coffee which are sometimes used as masking agents so using those just draws them to it ..i do have a suggestion though whith whatever you try ,,be very careful of residual smells ??if that makes sense?? eg touching the e's then touching the outside of the container that you put them in ,,and money too,, i have seen footage of this where a dog could smell the drug residue on the money that weas handled by dealer, yeah sure he had put the money in bags but he was rubbin his dirty mits all over the outside of the bags too ..!!

Honestly, if its just a few pills... the only surefire way to get them passed him would have it in your ass... no joke

ive had quite a bit to do with the hounds over the years,,they can be hard to beat, very hard,,,ill give you what i use to do to get stuff in for my friends in jail knowing i was going to taken to a room and have the dog put on me,,,,package it in a balloon and tie it off,,then another balloon,,,now clean up the house so you cant brush on anything,as such,,getting the smell on you again,,,shower with balloon,,,dry and wrap in electrical tape,,,shower again,,,dry and wrap again,,,you should be right to go,,,never forgetting to watch who you stand next to as there smells can fuck you up,,,and when getting in the car makes sure nothing has been smoked in there for weeks,,and a liberal dosing all over with aftershave always helps,,....good luck...

I got no intentions of smuggling contraband into a jail i just asked caus the drug squad (task force or whateva) has been making a habit

of raiding pubs/niteclubs with there trusty little Canine friends.

The day before I read this post swish was taking a bus through Little rock Arkansas and had about 1000 pills in my bag. They had a sniffer dog at the bus station sniffing it but nothing happened. They did drag two guys off the bus though. What would have happened if they did find swish's pills?

One thing guaranteed to fuck up a dog's sniffer is ammonia.
