Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
If swim wanted to turn some ice that is a fine consistency, like sand, back into rock or plate like form how would he go about doing it?

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
i must ask this as there is a couple of substances called ice,,,,,,do you know,if you have 4-methyl-aminorex,,,,,or do you have crystalized methylamphetamine ,,,,,,,,,,,,,ill ignore the rest as they dont have much relevance to lab tips eg,"information concealment engine",,mind you, rock is a good name for it as the fucker dont give back shit until you melt it,,

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
Candy assumes by "ice" you are reffering to an amine.hcl?
If this is the case, she recommends...
Add just enough MeOH to your amine.hcl that it takes to dissolve.
Allow to sit undisturbed, in a cool dry place, until MeOH fully evaporates.

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
incase you dont know ,,you say it looks like sand,,when rubbed between thumb and forefinger is its texture similar to fine glass,,meth you can rub into a dry paste very quickly,,,but ice stays fine silica granules

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
mnm,,,you wouldnt advise anyone on crystalizing methamphetamine hcl that way,,not at all,,be fair to these people--either put the time in and give a full and frank explanation,,or dont bother,,cause what yourve written is misleading,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but i will say that you have explained one way in which you can take ice granules and reset them back into a block

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
This stuff is ice methamphetamine, clear and beautifull. There is a need to make it more rock like as thats what is being requested and I have no prob giving it like that, I thought about dropping some distilled water on the glass like silica sand, let it pool together and then when the water evaps the plates-rock would be left......I dunno

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
Methanol is still a better choice than water...

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
I thought about methanol, but I dont know where to find it. Any word on items that are pretty much exclusively methanol? Also why methanol? Peace...

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
Depending on your location, there are various OTC methods for aquiring MeOH (methanol).
If in the USA, HEET the gasline water removal additive in the yellow bottle contains methanol.

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
So basically add just enough of this heet to dilute the stuff then let the liquid (heet-methanol) evap, then ill have my plates-rock....swim will have I mean....

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
Just enough to completely dissolve it.
Then allow to evaporate in a cool dry place, undisturbed to allow crystal formation.
If you disturb the recrystallization it won't yield the larger lattice you are in search of.

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
hmm,,ok i see what your asking,,yes mnm is correct with the method described,,if you want to do it in an hour,,get a flat tray pyrex baking dish and put all your ice in it,,then pour in enough methanol or other alcohol;(isoprpyl does well)to just cover(about 5 mm depth is fine) and then low heat,,,all the ice will disolve and the methanol will begin to evaporate,,watch it closely until you begin to see solids appear on the surface,,then take off hotplate and allow to cool at room temp,,,youll see a viscous gravy clear cream appear,,this will begin to get harder,,,when its solid but not firm,,,razor blade it up and itl roll into rough edged rocks but wont be dry,,allow the rocks to dry in a warm dark room

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
You speak of ice being meth, but ice is a whole different ballgame than meth. Two totally different drugs!

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
ice can mean either meth or u4euh, it depends where you live. because its called one name here dont mean its called the same thing there. anyways this has all ready been covered.....
mnm you forgot to tell them that the longer it takes to evaporate the nicer the crystals!!! if you gotta have the big ones swia recomends putting the methanol in the freezer to evaporate. it willl take a long time and your methanol has to be totally anhydrouus but its well worth the wait.

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
i read somewhere that acetone & water brews nice crystals over 10 days or more.
Whats recomended, acetone - methanol ??
do you just dry methanol to get anyhydrous methanol ?

Re: Turn Ice "Sand" into Rock
methanol does fine,,as does most of the alcohols,,,and you dry it yourself
