Found this in the archives, wanted to see if anyone thought it was plausible.

Theoreticaly, LSD may now be easier than ever to synthesize. This time using a peptide synthesis. This type uses a peptide coulpling reagent (PCR) to condense LSA with diethylamine to form LSD.

This synth uses N,N-Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC), and N-hydroxysuccinimide (HOSu). The reason why is because these two used in conjunction with each other have little epimerization (formation of iso-LSD) effect on the product like other PCR's.

Both DCC and HOSu are not watched in any way, and are readily available from places like Aldrich. I know aldrich sells DCC for $18/100g, and HOSu $23.50/25g, which is plenty to tinker with.

Synthesis:

Do under red light, just enough to see with, when testing pH, use a small flashlight to guage the color accurately:

LSA and HOSu (1.1 equivalent) are suspended in methylene chloride.

DCC (1.5 equivalent) is stirred in. The soltion is stirred overnight at R.T. Then diethylamine (2 equivalent) is added dropwise, and the solution stirred for 6 more hours. Then the solution is filtered, and the filter cake washed and discarded. The filtrate is washed 2x with 10% NaHCO3 solution, then 2x with 28% ammonia solution.

Evaporate organic layer and crystallize (LSD will be 80-90% pure, chromotograph for further purification).

Example:

Lets say you have 5g LSA to play with.

You need 1.1 equivalent of HOSu. 5g LSA is .0186mol (5/268.3146=.0186). That would mean you need (.0186*1.1=.02046) .02046mols of HOSu, which is (.02046*115.1=2.35) 2.35g HOSu.

So blend together dry, 5g LSA and 2.35g HOSu. Suspend this mix in 4x it's volume of DRY methylene chloride (DCM).

Now you need to add 1.5 equivalent of DCC. You had 5g of LSA, which is .0186mol, so you will need (.0186*1.5=.0279) .0279mol DCC, which is (.0279*206.33=5.76) 5.76g DCC.

Add the 5.76g DCC and fix an overhead stirrer on high speed. Allow to stir overnight.

When time has passed, you must add dropwise (for as long as it takes to add it), 2 equivalents diethylamine. We had 5g LSA, which is .0186mol, so we need (.0186*2=.0372) .0372mol of diethylamine, which is (.0372*73.1376=2.72) 2.72g diethylamine.

Add the diethylamine, then stir with overhead stirrer for 6 more hours.

When time has passed, filter solution, and wash filter cake with extra DCM, add that to the filtrate, and discard filter cake.

Wash the organic filtrate 2x with 3/10th it's volume of 10% sodium bicarbonate solution. Then use regular household ammonia (28%solution) to wash the organic filtrate 2x with 3/10th volume. Discard washings, and evaporate organic filtrate.

What is left will be impure LSD freebase, yeild about 80%. That means from 5g LSA, you will get (5/268.3146=.0186*.8=.01488*323.437=4.8) 4.8g LSD freebase, which if chromotographed to pure 99% LSD, and then crystallized, will yield about 40,000 good doses.

Store your pure LSD in a small bottle, by putting it in, then filling it with a burst of nitrous as an inert from whip-cream. Stopper and wrap in tin-foil. Keep in cool-dark place.

Swim has dreamed up lsd before and the method he used was the easiest method swim could ever imagined.Swim knew someone that decided to raise rats for a living so that he could get a legal reason to pocess large amounts of rye.Swim then witnessed larger amounts of rye being put into a cooler filled with dryice in a dark room.Swim is not going to explain exact methods because then people will be making lsd everywhere.Anyways swim saw that there was a bunch of blacklights all over the room.And the rye was kept in the dryice for several days.When swim came back several days later something was formed it looked like mush.Then swim witnessed larger amounts of dh20 being poured over it then it being boiled a little.Swim then saw it being filled into vials.Swim hypothetically of course assumes that if a few drops was done tripping affects would soon take place.Swim decided to drop 2 hits then 45 minutes later swim started seeing tracers. Around 1 1/2 hours swim was seeing amazing visuals.The 2 drops lasted for 6-8 hours of really good visuals and also swim forget to mention after 45 mins of dropping the liquid solution swims eyes begin to dilate =)Now you go figure swim left out some parts of this story so that most novice will not be able to perform it without knowing the cetain precedure and also without knowing the extra chemicals needed to preform this ever so hard talked about task.Swim will say this the few chemicals needed is not watched and can be bought locally without going to chemist websites......Swim wished the people on totse goodluck actually being able to preform this method =)
