Hi all

I am trying to put together a modern complete pill to meth synthesis for the laymen (small scale ..NANO ..LOL) using a conglomerate of other peoples methods ..yes i am a laymen myself (i have a good understanding of basic chem but a developing understanding of organic synthesis) and i have to admit this post is completely self motivated..however if i can get it to work i will willingly share all that i have learnt.

I propose to use extracts from the following methods and invite those who are familiar with these methods to answer some simple tech questions ..mainly to do with content and conc of ingredients as i can't find them here and will have to make them myself..and msds's are a bit vague.

1) "the matchbook Red Phosphorus Bible "

(author=unknown )

2) "red phosphorous/iodine meth synth" pfedhcl extraction

(author= Placebo)

3) "nano scale RP/I meth" for actual synth and crystallization..

(author= Curbshot)



I only have a couple of query's, for anyone who is familiar with any of these methods will be able to answer..if you have read this far than it is likely that you may want to help or are at least curious ..all advice/criticism will be gratefully accepted.

Ouch ...yeah that must have hurt ..sorry for the flashback....always dreaded something like that being served up to me and that i was expected to eat it..lol However i must admit i have often wondered what it tasted like ..I.E brains ?? the worst i ever got was liver ..never liked it as a kid and not too long ago i thought "it was just probably just a psycological thing" so i went and ate some ..nup it tastes like shit ..i put it right up there with brussel sprouts !!

Spook you're proposing to do what swim's been doing, and once swim's satisfied with the yields, swim will put swim's half-assed, slapped-together method.

Ok no worries..look forward to seeing it ..in the mean time could someone please tell me the concentrations of the H2S04, and hcl "commonly" used in these proceedures what are they ??? I cant make whatever strength i need ..and what the hell is charcoal lighter fluid,,should i be after benzene or is a mineral spirit a suitable replacement??

The HCl swim uses is 31.45%.

Swim's not sure what the percentage of the H2SO4 is(battery acid)but thinks it is 50%.

charcoal lighter fluid,,same use as zippo lighter fuel i spose,,,they do it to get the ethanol out, i think???,anyway its not a min spirits,,its more a clean light polar that your looking for,,some use hexane etc

..yeah battery acid can vary...but 50% is good...and i think i can use zippo fluid (butane/propane)but its not the same as charcoal

lighter fluid(benzenz/naptha)..lets hope it does the job.

by the way i am a little concerned about the ratios on the nano method;

1-1.5g E + 3gI + 2gRP = fuck all yeah i know ..

but if the iodine tincture is at 2% active (I2)that is only 0.06g I..?? which is also fuck all..?? 3g of iodine tincture just doesn't seem to be enough or is he somehow extracting the I2 from the tinct first and using that ?? Should i just match the E concentration with neat I2 and go for it ??

You have to get pure I2 out of the tincture. Look for the post titled, "Here it is-all three steps." I forget who posted it, but it's a very informative post.

yeah i thought as much ..i got pure I2 anyways, thats much easier ..gee im glad i asked that..i will check out the post as well for later reference ..
