A mobile birch...under the belt.
Just wanted to say that my friends first mobile birch was a success. He was wondering about the difference, the end result makes, if one skipped the h20 quench. He has always gassed straight from the filtered ether, pulled from the p-li-amm. Is the difference large enough to try to incorporate this into his next birch? He said the mobile way ...is now the only way.

Re: A mobile birch...under the belt.
ok i think i get what your asking,,,,,that quench,,,,when you cook from pills you cant help but have crap attached to the ephedrine molecule which, after the reduction, you filter out from the reduction vessel,,,if your quench is large enough,it absorbs all that crap, delivering another third more goodies,or you can wash what you filter out in dnh20,,it also stops dead the reduction which allows for you to play with perfect cook times,,,,friends use hexane for the A/B,,,,and squirt the hexane and eph into the ammonia/sodium metal ,,then after, separate water and dry hexane,,gas it,jobs over
