Drying Acetone w/ a Towel
Buddy wants to know if you can use acetone alone to get psuedo, or can you just rinse with it(dry acetone)? He just soaked them and then peeled the "skin" off, along with the su-24 that was inked on it. Could he do the whole process with Acetone?>if so how?
Thank You

Re: Drying Acetone w/ a Towel
Very strange question. I'll try.
It looks like what has happened is 240mg tabs were soaked in acetone and the shells cracked off of them. Tombstones (120's) behave this way as well. Generally the pills are put into a small metal strainer like a tea strainer, then lowered into dry acetone (any water will dissolve some pseudo). When they crack, shake the strainer gently until the insides fall through. Discard shells. Let sit in acetone for a few hours, then siphon off acetone without disturbing powder on bottom. discard acetone. Whats left has all the gaak and binders that are not soluble in acetone still in there, so it is necessary to continue cleaning.
I'm not sure if that is what you were looking for. If not, please restate the question.

Re: Drying Acetone w/ a Towel
<Let sit in acetone for a few hours,>
Should he let them soak in acetone while in freezer (dry acetone)- or does he want to dissolve the psuedo at this point? leaving the binder's to be filtered?

Re: Drying Acetone w/ a Towel
What does this have to do with "drying acetone w/a towel"?
