water
What is the "industry" standard when it comes to amounts of water and coleman's in a basic a/b?
I have done it successfully with varied amounts (usually too much) and am wondering what is the minimum. Lets say, for example I am trying to clean 3600 mg pseudo (30 120 mg tabs). I do not use acetone soaks because the pills (prescription) are not really all that gaked up. If I plop the pills in an unspecified amount of slightly acetic water, the waxy crap forms really cute little boulders at the bottom of the bottle and the rest I Filter through several coffee filters usually more than once. How much water is good? I usually wind up with 16 oz (one complete bottle)which I then split, top off with colemans shake, shake, shake. Well, you know the rest.
What I am worried about is saturation of either the water or the coleman's with the pseudo. You can only mix so much sugar in 16 oz of water before it simply won't hold any more (unless you heat it to supersaturation levels) know what I mean? I know that if you use alot of water and alot of colemans, total saturation by the freebase and the final movement of the freebase back to the water won't happen. There will be plenty of room at the inn.
Do you guys know what I am saying?

Re: water
SWIA would be happy to help ya but he doesnt exactly understand what your asking. He is guessing you want ratios? Also your using water which is pointless now-a-days with all the dry matrix and what not. you should use a real extraction technique like st8toBee or the E-gull or something along those lines. maybe SWIA is way off base here, but he isnt sure what is being asked/

Re: water
If you're using dry matrix formulation pills, you definitely don't want to use water when extracting. Check rhodium.ws to find out what DMF or NDMF pills are, and why.

Re: water
I think I understand your question.
You want to know the minimal amount of water that your stock will be soluble in?
Depending on what isomer and salt of stock you are using this answer varies.
It seems to me that the minimal solubility for .hcl is 1gram/ml.
Though, I wouldn't recommend using a super concentrated solution. For your application 50-150ml wouldnt be unheard of.
