The RP/I reaction over others
the reason i think people go for the RP/I reaction over others is because they can do it independantly. For all the other reactions ie. birch and hypophosphorous, you need to "know" people for precursors. Getting to "know" these people can be really hard swiv has found and besides who wants to get to know a random guy wanting to produce a product for friendship. It doesnt happen. Friends need to be made outside of this circus and then maybe later can help you out.
the birch reaction i guess could be done independant if you have the balls to obtain ammonia gas using a fake story for its use (thanks kirby :> ) and then getting lithium strips from lithium batteries. Although kirby admits to using sodium .. to which i have NO idea how thats obtained (friend in the know im guessing!!).
RP/I = matchbooks and treatment of tincture. Easy to obtain materials. Hypo acid very hard to get and ammonia gas, also, hard to get (easier than hypo for where i live).
Ofcourse this is for me and there are exeptions to the matter ie. if you work around these chemicals etc.
Its all about who you know and how u get to know them. Very hard to do .. considering its and illegal practice.
cheers people for listening to swiv's shit and swiv has no idea if you could call this a question or not. It's a statement .. feedback is much appreciated.
agree or disagree ..

Re: The RP/I reaction over others
Switrd thinks you've hit the nail on the head. At least in his case. The rxn you speak of is a great way for someone who is not familiar with chemistry, to fiddle around and see what he/she can come up with. The ingredients are fairly easy to obtain. Yet it's not so easy that any dipshit could up and start making it. The principles involved are fairly easy to understand and it is very forgiving in regard to the safety aspects. If you mess up, you don't automaticly blow yourself and the surrounding neighbors sky-high.

Re: The RP/I reaction over others
yes i agree with tired,,,usually the reduction you choose is chosen for you by your ability to access the precursors
