First all Swivey would like to thank Gotti, Sleepz, Tired, Str8, and everyone who helped swivey accomplish her tasks.

It took awhile for her however the reward was well worth it. Gotti and Sleepz...you 2 are the foundation for my education seriously you 2, THANKS...swivey is amazed by the fairy dust...its unblievable how good it actually is... WOW she says over and over!!!!!

The ratios she used were 4.2 eph, 3.2 rp, and 6.4 I2, also 7 mls of dh2o...she cooked for 40-50 hrs and the yield was 2.1 for greeaat shit...a little bitter but the high was amazing.

Howver....she is having a hard time finding tinct...small island in the Pac....need to know what could she do to stretch the I2??? Last time got close to 8 gram yield on 8 ounces(half pint) of 7% tinct...however she just had 16 ounces of tinct at 2% and she used 8 ozs and only pulled 4.3 grams. she realizes the percentage quality of the tinct however difficult to obtain it here. she would like to stretch the I2. What would be the least swivey could use for this ratio....8.4 eph, 6.6 rp, ___I2, and 14mls of dh2o??????? she knows it should be 12.8 obviously but she could go 10.5-11 cant she????NEED to stretch it, know what I mean.

the I2 really cant be stretched. if the rxn runs short of I2 then the reduction doesnt fully take place. then you are left with unreduced ephedrine in with your final product.

Well, I'm glad that good things have come your way bro. And your welcome. I'm glad to have been able to make your journey a little easier to understand or which way to turn. Switrd is extremely new to all of this too but has a few under his belt for reference. Pre-Cleaning has become a great adventure. He has become anal about all of it. So he may spend a while 3-7 days preparing one ingredient. (sounds crazier than it is) He lives in a place where it is important to be as unnoticed as possible.

davey something is wrong you should have been able to get more than 8grams of i2 off of 8 ounces seriously your doin something wrong read wicked's post on best i2 extraction so that you can double or tripple the amount of crystals you extract =)

Glad you were successful. I'm sorry I left ya hangin the other day. It seems every time I took a break, I was argueing over some theory or other. It looks like you made it anyway.

Sutt is right about the tincture. Technically you should get between 0.8-1.0g./oz.(30mls) of 2% and three and a half times that wih the 7%. Someone recently reposted all of the iodine stuff. It should be easy to find. Ebay has iodine crystals. They are used for treating a bad hoof disease in horses. If one of your "girls" has a safe address and credit card, that would work.

If you save the leftover water layer from your reaction, you can recover up to 50% of your iodine. It takes a good bit of practice, but well worth the time and effort.

Tired--

Being "anal" about cleaninmg is the only way to go. Spending a few hours and doing a shitty cleaning job will result in wasting all of your money as well as the hours you spend doing the shitty job. All the extra time and effort will be greatly considered by the meth gods when they decide the amplitude of your reward.

Oh, i forgot to ask....I started another reaction....does the reaction always inlcude a smokey atmosphere?? cause presently this one is 9 hours in and no smoke....just wondering...I never read whether or not it was included to be productive.

Im worried maybe I flooded my reaction with too much dh2o, my ratios were 6.9 eph, 5.4 rp, 10.4 I2, and 11 mls of water. comparable to my last rxn...ratios are correct with a percentage increase in the ratios. my products are cleaned same as the previous batch. could it be flooded, if so, the cook time will increase or remove my ballon and evaporate a couple mls of water?? sounds plausible?? which of the 2 would you guys suggest??

I cooked the last batch in 40-45 hrs . with these measurements I expect results in 60-65 hrs as my measurements increased about 60%.

What about the cloud, Is hydriodic acid visible? My rxn smeels like pp again(same smell). I killed myself haven't I. LOL CRAAAAP!!!!!

All of swim's dreams had an initial puff of smoke when E met I.

Later on you will learn that avoiding the smokey reaction is the best thing to do. Usually when the iodine hits water in the presence of red phos., it will generate a good deal of heat and some white to yellow smoke.

Many advocate the use of water in the range of 1.8-2.1mls/g of pseudo used. Swigotta has not been as successful when using this much water. Not to say that it is not successful, it just requires more attention and heat and time. If things aren't looking like you think they should after about 40 hours, crank up the heat to about 110-120C for a few hours to speed the reaction up some. Making sure there is enough iodine to compensate for the excess water is also important. Just a guess, but maybe the iodine should be between a 1.5-2.0/g of pseudo.

You didn't mess anything up, just make sure you allow plenty of time.

Do you guys think pictures would help? If so, does anyone know how to get them up without a path to the sender?

Switrd's first attempt failed. Second was beautiful...3rd disaster (not literaly, just didn't work. Forth failed as well, due to rushing the cleaning stages. Now switrd now spends days perfecting each of the precursors. Don't give up, and don't feel bad. Shit happens.....Meth, takes time.

Hasn't had any problems lately due to super clean precursors. Damn, what a job, but it pays off!!!

yep thats the whole key. PATIENCE!!! the end result is only as good as the effort applyed from the start. everyone says that the a/b and gassin is the tricky hard part, shit SWIM thinks the cleaning of the precursors is what takes the most effort, time, and patience, well he KNOWS this he dont think it.

For the procedures you will read about here, the answer is yes. Making grams and milliliters equivalent is pretty widely used. They really aren't and it gets worse the bigger the numbers get, but around here, its universal.

I'm gonna jump on the cleaning bandwagon. Nothing pleases the meth gods more than clean precursors.

QUESTION: Are there any telltell signs within the rxn to show that it's a good rxn?

It smells the same as my first (successful) rxn...like sweet passion fruit urination. LOL I know of interior liquid droplets getting thicker as the rxn lengthens, and the beading of droplets slows.

Well davey, you have asked the $50 question. What are the signs of the progression and end point of the rp/i reduction reaction? (I bet you didn't even know you asked that.)

It's another one of "those" questions that has far too many different answers. I have heard of guys that swear by the cat piss smell or boiled onion smell and now the passion piss smell as the confirmation of completion.

Well, I know a guy who smelled the boiled onion smell (that what he thinks that particular smell smells like) and came up with some half reduced, so-so product. On the flip side he smelled that same old acid smell, cooked it "long enough" and pulled some of the best glass that has ever hit his pipe.

The short answer, I'm afraid, is that's it's all relative to the observer. Or at least, that's what Einstein would have said.

I agree with Gotta...very, VERY strong acidic smell, that in a small room becomes intolerable after about an hour and a half (well, mutants such as myself will tolerate it! When you pull the balloon off at the end the smoke should send EVERYONE, even if your a mutant, out of the room!

you need to learn how to recycle(reclaim)your i2.you can get a pretty good % of it back after each reaction.if you like ill show you the way?

My contribution to the $50.00 question is a well known clue of completion: Translucent rxn fluid, prefferably with a lazy oil like viscosity.

Wouldn't the recycled I2 suffer a loss in potency? It seems like there would certainly be shortcomings when compared to fresh I2. (?)
