Re: to kirby
it would be handy to know what your doing,,wether it be by redphos/iodine or ammonia/sodium metal lithium-----you will find acetone100%, xylene100%,mineral turpentine100%, dnh2o, methylated spirits95%(methanol) in the solvent section of most local hardwares,,toluene must be asked for and is red flagged but easy to get,,just wear overalls and boots and say your using it as a paint thinner,,all these items are produced by diggers solvents,,,epsom salts is in the soil additives section of your local hardware,,,,red devil lye, we call it caustic soda(sodium hydroxide98%), supplied by diggers and in the plumbing section of your local hardware,,,,filters are mellitta coffee brand 10 to 12 cup size, must be brown paper and unbleached available at most supermarkets,,hydrochloric acid is 34%, from any pool shop, and is named hypochlorite solution, sulphuric acid is from lab supply houses and must be 98%,glassware is red flagged so dont even try,,,,,and until i get an answer on what reduction your doing there isnt much more i can tell you

Re: to kirby
xylene is found under the name xylene,,try the home handyman hardware chain,,specifically, theres a hardware shop on the corner of main street and powell street joondanna, youll find it in one litre cans in the solvent section,,,,,i used ammonia/sodium metal,,,and cant help you much with the redphos except its heavily redflagged,,is only safely available through match strike pads(hanna matches puts out a flap cover match pad which is known to be high in RP content and available by the 1000 from FAL)you say your friends RP is a paste, hasnt he dried it or is it commercially available this was,,,but i dont know if its usuable--post a question and ask,,someone will know,,makesure you have all its details
