4 months ago an Inspector Todd of the DEA was being given a printout of every word printed in the chat room and a number of regular totse chatters were arrested and charged with a series of felonies so no one goes in there now

There must be more to the story than this. You can't get arrested for typing words in a chat room, no matter what those words are. At best all this "info" is circumstantial evidence, but it's more hearsay than anything else. You can't be convicted of anything on the basis of that alone without a live confession. A positive ID on anyone here is nearly impossible.

By the time the LE are actually, actively looking for you in a chat room or bbs they already know who you are. They have some evidence to build a case against you, and they're just looking for more info, and for confirmation of what they know.

Not to sound harsh, but the paranoia over info-exchanging is getting ridiculous. If I were a smart law enforcement person or a fed agent, I'd visit these boards and plant seeds of paranoia, too, to get people to shut themselves up.

As much as some people seem to relish the notoriety of their hobbies/lifestyles/whatever, we just aren't important enough for LE to pay attention to. Think about it.

i agree with that. however it easier to stay out of jail than get out of jail and one can NEVER be to careful when it comes to his freedom. i served some hard time in texas when i was a young man and i dont want to do it again. so if being a little paranoid or cautious helps in any way no matter how miniscule than im all for it.

I dont think Loompanics publishing company will net even a million dollars in sales each year with their entire catalog. Lets just pretend Loompanics sell 200,000 copies of all Uncle's book for a career total. Usually a publishing company pays a writer royalties around 10% of the whosale price. This is the industry standard. A retail average of all Uncle's books I estimate to be around $22. Lets say the whosale is averaged around $15. At 200,000 (being generous), Old Uncle might have made $300,000, but I seriously doubt this is the case, seeing how Loompanics seems to be somewhat shady, and the FBI have knocked on their door numerous times with search warrants demanding the identity of this Michiganian. Curious, what makes you think he lives in California? Why do you say you live in Tennessee when your location clearly stated PA?

Well the reason no one is there, is because it all started out as a good idea when Suziegirl first registered all the channels, but no one really went. So after 30 days of no one showing it, it became unregistered and everyone just went to #totse.
