Can I use striaght sodium carbonate wrapped up in a coffe filter and teid off to dry my solvents? I am almost sure I can, but was wondering if there is something I am missing as far as carbonate ruining my solvents,

I did a strate to E where my yield should ahave been somewhere around 25 grams but only

got back aboit 6 grams of the psuedo.

Any suggestions.

my glass would turn your heavy duty aluminum foil into swiss cheese, Im just trying out the strate to e and am guessing the solvents were not dried properly.
