SWIM decided to try a bunch of mr veggie and his sons. IPA wouldn't touch em, so SWIM tried the ever useful acetone. Turned into one gummyassed white mess. SWIM would appreciate help.

Update. SWIM has tried everything to clean the goop up. When warm DH2O is added, it turns everything gray. The white shit doesn't seem to want to clean with anything. Any clues?

are you sure you are talkin about RP (red phosphorous) or are you talking about trying to extract ephedrine from OTC pills?

Mr veggie and sons matches lol. cut the pads, soakes in IPA, nada, soaked in tone, white mushyassed mess that nothing will clean that swim has found

personaly i have never seen a white mushy mess but the RP has to be in there somewhere. you might try boiling the mass in muriatic acid and see what happens. it sounds as if you have a mass of paper pulp maybe. usually the RP falls off the strike pads and you are able to remove the strike pads from the tone with a pair of tongs or the like.
