In the past when working in the lab a syringe (without needle)or a pippette was used to squirt down the sides of the evaporating dish or to retrieve those last mls of hexane from the sodium/ammonia quenching water,,,, but the other night whilst at a friends i saw him use an ink refill cartridge,,,its like a little plastic squeezee bottle with a 50mm needle on the end,,,,you insert the needle into the ink cartridge and squeeze the ink in, as such refilling the cartridge rather than replacing it---it worked extremely well at sucking and squirting and was far better than anything id used before--anyway--i thought id share that with you guys to be logged under useless information
