Re: Cleanning Ether stater fluid !
Turn the can of ether upside down and spray til there is no pressure. Poke a hole in the lid of a 2liter soda bottle. Fill the 2liter about half full of hot water. Poke a hole in the starter fluid can and funnel the ether into the hot water. Put your finger over the hole and shake. Release pressure by removing your finger. Keep doing this until you dont hear anymore fizz. Now keep your finger on the hole and turn it upside down. Wait for all the ether to float to the top. Now remove your finger and let the water drain (I assume your on a gravel road somewhere if your fucking with Ether) Be sure to get all of the h2o off.

Re: Cleanning Ether stater fluid !
You absolutely cannot purify ether with water, there is no way in hell. At best you are just making it wet.
The procedure orange describes actually takes all of the ether out of the starting fluid and evaporates it into the air and what you are left with is oil and water contaminated hexane(which can be bought much cheaper in pure form.
Bottom line: You need a fractionating column and a really cold condenser to purify ether from starting fluid.

Sluttelia....you dumbass, that's not tryp being hard on people....you dunce. He is merely correcting and stoping in it's tracks, the myth that ether can be purified in water. What the hells wrong with that? It'll save people the time and trouble of trying to do shit the wrong way... you know, like sluttlord's 2liter bottle way. If you want to see people being hard on someone, check out what I posted in your sorry excuse for a thread. hahahahah

Re: Cleanning Ether stater fluid !
Starting fluid contains ether AND hexane AND upper cylinder lubricants (ie oils). 'nuff said.

Sutt:
Is there really a good reason for you walking around these forums and spouting off your little cocky mouth all the time???
Would you like mod powers? Is that why you continue to try and belittle any information that Tryp or AM offer up?
Sutt, if you really are 22, you are pretty damn immature.
I happen to be 22, and there seems to be a large difference in our levels of maturity.

Re: Cleanning Ether stater fluid !
I used phosphuric acid to remove the hexane and upper cyl.lub, but i have a lot of that to play with.I put 3-cans starter fluid in 2-liter bottle added 1/2 cup 75% phos.acid and shook for a while. The acid asorbed the hex,and upper cyl.lub.I poured off the acid and was left with sweet smelling ether
