When I Do My Red P And I2 Reaction, Is There A

Sertine Process I should Follow. Like Pepare The Acid Solution First And Allowed To Come To A Complete Reaction First About 20 Minutes.

By Just Evaporating Some Of My Water/Pseudo.

And Match The Same Amount I Just Evaporated To The RP/I2 Solution.

And Can I Make A Allihn Condenser With A Bottle With A Lid.

And Does This Reaction Have To Be Boiled For A Period Of Time. And If So Can I Do It In A Prytex Dish On A Heat Element, Or Do You Need A Allihn Condenser To Do This Reaction.

Switrd believes there are some rules that should be followed...especially if you're new to this. (obviously) There is a search type thingy toward the top of your screen. If you check around here, you will find a goldmine of information. Type in some member names like, Lucky, Gotta, Red, there are probably a dozen or so that have really done some excellent threads recently on the matter. And Match The Same Amount I Just Evaporated To The RP/I2 Solution."" WTF?? Switrd usually mixes the rp and ephed, and then adds the Iodine...but you'll find out more.

You would be better off probably buying a condenser. And yes it needs too cook for quite some time...36 hrs or so. And do not attempt it in a regular old baking type pyrex dish. There is a lot you need to learn my friend. Stick around and read some more. 2 months from now, you'll feel like an asshole for asking these questions. Be patient.

hey alwaystired where would i got grab a condenser, or parts to make one. would a beer making shop have a good source of tools.

and 36+ hours im just planning to do a

Pseudo-30.0/RP-30.0/I2-45.0 & Dh20 20 Ml.

and what i meant by the evaporation of my water from the pseudo/water extract is.

say i evaporate 0.7 water out of the solution

i can use that 0.7 i just evaporated to start the RP/I2 reaction.i have to put the 0.7 water back in no matter what. than throw in the pseudo.
