try epsom salts prepared correctly---and theres a few posts on every page telling you the required ratio---make sure its 100% mineral turpentine

you MUST prepare epsom salts first---then just drop in--swirl it around for 5 mins--let sit for an hour--then filter out---DONT EVER boil mineral turpentine

so say for 1 liter min turps would it matter how much salt i put in to dry it to standards of production.

I checked it out and it looks like magnesium sulfate, MgSO4, or epsoms salt is the best choice. When completely dehydrated, each molecule can hold 7 water molecules making it very efficient. Since mineral turps is relatively dry to start with, it won't take much. I couldn't find exactly how much, but I would venture to guess that 30 grams (maybe two tablespoons worth) would be more than enough for 1L. You probably wouldn't lose that much to absorption if you put more.
