SWIM's friend uses EGull method to obtain his pseudo crystals. After evap uses the crystal that percipitated to bottom of bowl. He also has a crystal like material that forms on the wall of the jar after evap. This has always just been tossed due to not appearing to amount to much but the other day he scraped it and it weighed in at 1/2 g. So just wondering can this also be used (after a cleaning of course), or is this just left over gaak?

In the words of Swigotta...Never throw anything away!! After the proper cleaning/filtering, it's just as good.

Hell yeah. I hope that Swigotta doesn't read this thread. If he does, he is likely to fall dead from heart failure when he thinks about all of the pseudo (if it looks like long thin pins or the shape of a ding on your windshield after a rock hits it, then they are good clean pseudo crystals) you have been throwing out. He is the most miserly sucker I have ever known. He makes the anal retentive chef look like a careless slob. You can rinse the jars, stir sticks and rods, everything that has come in contact with the filtered liquid (that has now dried leaving pinwheels everywhere) with denatured alcohol (it dissolves the pfed the fastest) and keep it in a jar using it for each process you do with the pseudo. When you get enough (3,4,5 runs or so) evap that and do your E gull on it (or really washing it with dry acetone will be good enough). You will be amazed how much will be in there.

Waste not want not. Remember, every gram of pfed is half a gram or more of meth. You can get a lot done with half a gram of meth.

I use all the crystals-even the ones that form on the side of the evap plate.
