Q for pikk or expierienced annie bichers
swic was wondering about this annie if swic had a tank full of annie which is the correct way to release the annie some say you have to turn it upside down and some say it has to be on its side with the valve to the top with the hose running freely with no crimps now swic has much respect for annie and knows it isnt to be taken to lightly any other tips would be very much appreciated thanks in advance to those who reply also another Q some say that the pills dont have to be that clean for this process i know the cleaner the better but just curious

Re: Q for pikk or expierienced annie bichers
friends turn bottle upside down ( this is to get the liquid annie to run out of the bottle into your reduction vessel)---they have bottle 2 foot above ground on supports---they have 2 foot of hose bending down to ground--going into reduction vessel--turn on and run away-- watch with binoculars--run back and switch off when right level is acquired---i wrote of this earlier--the birch is impurity tolerant to a small degree(burns a bit more sodium/lithium though)--the eph will still kick into the reduction solvent leaving crap to be filtered out after ammonia evap(((hints--throw a couple of large marbles in there to help mix and reduce bumping---always squirt the eph in real slow-and when you hear the bubbling,STOP--always quench with dnh2o after 20mins of reduction,no more--better to have clean eph than reduce with impurities--gas in increments of 20secs and filter each time--good luck

Re: Q for pikk or expierienced annie bichers
a Q came to mind how will u know the right measurement of annie thats going in to reduce the lith.if your standing miles away with binoculars??because there is a measurement to follow e/nh3/lith would it be better to measure out annie first and isnt there a way to just release the pressure out of the tank so that when you loosen the valve just liquid comes out without much pressure??

Re: Q for pikk or expierienced annie bichers
i read of you writing tank on side, valve to top-----when you lift the tank you can feel that theres liquid at the bottom--it is this liquid that you want in your reduction vessel--thats why upside down---to have the tank on its side, valve up,,,it wouldnt work---ive read that you only need 350mls to do a 2oz reduction---ive also read you only need enough to disolve the sodium/lithium--when friends started they always used 1 litre per reduction but as years passed they are down to 700ml per reduction and are finding it works the same but less time wasted waiting for ammonia to evaporate--friends feel that a lot less could be used but as they have access to unlimited ammonia they see no need to experiment--and yes the hose should run into the reduction vessel with no kinks, just one gradual downward slope--dont forget to always remove every bit of water from the a/b extraction, EVERY DROP---add lye/caustic soda to the A/B extraction in small increments to avoid lye lock---keep all solvents dry--if your meth hungry, take white substance from filter, after you filter the reductions solvent,,and give two toluene washes, and a methanol extraction, then evaporate the methanol and youll see more good crystals---wet filters (with the same liquid your going to filter with)this will inhibit the loss into the filter--good luck

Re: Q for pikk or expierienced annie bichers
TRUST ME,you dont want to release the pressure and just let it flow out,,,just do as ive said and itl work fine---and you have an easily seeable mark on the reduction vessel so you know when the right lever has been reached---when you turn the valve to open the tank,,youll see the annie begin to flow out slowly,,trickling out in a steady flow but limited flow,,dont open it further,,thats ample
