Default A SOBERING DOSE OF REALITY !

GREETINS FELLOW DREAMERS,

"SWAMIDOMI" would like to take a moment to remind all his "FELLOW DREAMERS" not to lose sight of the inherent dangers that are apart of the dreams we seek.

DOMI is no chemist but isn't a dumbass either, his degree happens to be in structual engineering and airframe stress,he does like to dabble in the "DREAM".

DOMI has great respect for the art and gives great respect to the hazards involved, reading many, many synth and post numerous times before ever considering a dream of his own. One section of his library is dedicated to "lab tips and safety"he has read these scribes numerous times as everyone experienced or newb,{especially newb!} should.

remember the two major reasons for accidents are inexperience and complacency! NOW,that said I'd like to share the reasoning for this post. DOMI isn't to proud to admit his mistakes, hopefully it will save another from disaster! DOMI is textbook safe or tries to be,while doing a"VESTRAITTOE" final boil @105c {his 3rd of the evening} he had fan going, leather gloves,& eyewear on but for some unknown lapse in gray matter he turned hot plate switch off as boil climaxed.

HOLY FUCKIN JUMP UP AND SHIT A BRICK!!!!!

THAT LITTLE,TINY SPARK OF THE SWITCH IGNITED A MASSIVE FUCKIN FIREBALL MOMENTARILY ENGULFING DOMI'S SEVERLY PUCKERING ASS!!!

FORTUNATELY!, being prepared for the worst he calmly grabbed supersize, soaking wet, beach towel and smothered that wicked fire breathin bitch before it could lay harm to DOMIMANOR,whom ever the thoughtful soul was that mentioned it in a post here awhile back has my upmost gratitude, thank you bro...that one line stuck to me and became apart of my predream ritual for being safe, I'm certain it saved us all from serious grief.

SWAMIDOMI lost a little facial hair, has a bald ass right arm,a scortched pony tail and the worst case of "ANAL RETENTION" ever known but he can laugh a nervous laugh this morning because thanks to a small line of advice from a "fella dreamer" he was prepared, again thank you!

SOOOOO...where does DOMI go from here? The greatest most perfect dream ever concieved ain't worth the chanc'in of home or life...

I'll keep own dreaming in my pursuit of perfection, cautiously as ever but the "EGULL" sure looks good right about now!!

{LOLLOLLOL!} It's sure good to LOL!

KEEP OWN DREAMIN!

your welcome. glad disaster was avoided. the old beach towel trick has saved more than one dreamer. i tried to stress how important it is to keep that wet towel handy. glad someone was paying attention. the beach towel and 5 gallon bucket ofwet potting soil is a must b4 attempting any of this shit and one should never fail to have these two things on hand. better safe than sorry.

I must admit, i to have a wet blanket on hand as well as a dry powder extunguisher--i did some time in the rhodesian light infantry 1979--1981. They use to send us out on these stupid 6 man patrols where we would sneak around the bush for days till some fucker shot at us--many a time the amount of shots would bring into play the old adage of "when in doubt, run away". If you do light up the kitchen then i understand you must attack that fire or the wife will have ya nuts, but there also may come a time to grab the kids and do a bolter.I also understand that if its your residential home you cant just upstakes and do the runner. For the sake of your families try not to do these synthesis in your home--try to get that hidden location where you can beat the feet , remembering that the ability to drop everything and move at the first sign of police intervention is what keeps many friends from being bent over in the showers at the local penitentiary

I've had 2 such expierences..

Once, I was recovering IPA from a hash oil extraction, let the temp. get too high and coated my lab in skunk soaked IPA. Hmmm... the smell...

Secondly, stoned in the lab with ether... Ow... my eyebrows... my arm hair...

Although for doses of reality, I realy freaked when I found my lab-buddy, pissed (drunk) using mercuric chloride without gloves.

After I read your post, Swim went to make his first batch. He was amazed at how well things were going untill the pyrex funnel broke and the kitchen went up in flames. He quickly tore his shirt soaked it in water and extinquished the flames. He went out on the porch and with smoke billowing out the door watched as a cop drove by. What a dumb ass. Next time he won't depend on the stove fan (duh!) and make sure he has a wet towell and wet dirt nearby. People really need to read these posts before undertaking any dreams.

GREETINGS FELLOW DREAMERS!

THANKS AGAIN WICKED!

It's funny how sometimes one word or line in the middle can carry such impact.

That's what I enjoy about this forum, good info to share and educated monitors to call bullshit when needed.

the monitoring extends well beyond "AM" AND "TRYP" who do great, but it extends to many who frequent here to many to name but you wicked Bro are certainly among them in my book!

Again,..thanks for ALL the good info!

KEEP ON DREAM'IN!

thanks DOMI im glad that a few simple words from one of my posts saved your house, liberty and perhaps your life. it makes it all worth while for me. i am in no way in the same league as AM & TRYP when it comes to the scientific aspect of the game but when i post somethin like this its cuz i KNOW it to be fact. its not based on theory or speculation but from hands on knowledge. i been involved in this game 25 years not as a cook per-se but in every other aspect. ive been in shootouts in deliveries gone bad with would be rippoffs, gaurded cookhouses while the dream was happnin, been sent to collect monies owed etc. i never failed in my duties and i learned from each and every experience. i kept my mouth shut and my ears open. ive many brothers that have lost there liberty and even there life in this game and i learned from there mistakes and its this knowledge i pass on here in this forum. dont take it lightly a high price has been paid by others just like you for me to be able to pass it on. if i say DONT use a fire extinguisher but instead a wet beach towel (or blanket as morgan said) and a 5 gallon bucket of wet potting soil then thats what you damn well better use. and have it soaking wet b4 you start dont wait till your house or perhaps even yourself is a fireball you wont have time then. shadoemann is very lucky and learned a hard lesson. its these lessons i try to pass on here. use it dilligently as i said b4 cuz some have paid dearly for this knowledge, all i try to do is pass it on. its free yet valuble in ways you hopefully will never have to comprehend. i am in my 40`s now, just an old man that works a real job now and just occasionly dabbles here and there with a few close roaddogs for recreation. you say im not an old man in my 40`s? well after you been in this game 25 years and if you survive come talk to me. we will kick back on the porch hike our suspenders up snort a fat fuckin line and look back on days gone by and you will realize you to are an old man. that is the knowledge i pass on to you. i will take this moment while im on the subject to shout out to my brothers that are in prison and the graveyard:

i miss you all and will never forget NEVER and thank you for your sacrfices that have proven to be invaluble to me and have helped me become the old man i am. you young dreamers can flame me if you want i dont mind. i know what its like to be young and cocky so make fun flame do what you wish but under the surface heed my words, like i said they are free yet priceless.

Peace Out W_R

hi wicked--i be 42 and have walked a different road than the one you moved down--the reason i said dry powder extinguisher, is its the correct one for a liquid fire(mind you so is a CO2 extinguisher)---yet to use it would mean the contamination/ruination of what ever your cooking at the time--yet your wet towel saves what isnt consumed by the fire--but wether it be the inert fire retardant abilities of the powder in the extinguisher, or the smothering effect of wet potting mix, each in its own way corrupts the ingredients of what you are cooking--which brings me to my questions---why do you feel damp potting mix is better than a dry powder extinguisher??? --and why the no extinguisher at all comment??? thanks wicked and looking forward to your reply

it has been my experience that an extinguisher when applyed comes out with such force that it sprays the burning shit ahead of it like mad. granted a dry chem one will prolly do the trick on chems that are burning but a red phosporus fire on the other hand is a different animal. very hard to put out and usually reigntes as soon as oxygen is present again. so i guess it boils down to this. a dry chem will prolly most likely work on most fires an RP fire being the one id worry most about. but wet potting soil works on ALL of it. a fire extinguisher isnt a bad idea and one should be handy in every home. heres how i seen it done in a situation that was fiery hell. fire ignited, wet towel was thrown over it. wet potting soil dumped on top of that and extinguisher used to put out the flaming walls and carpet and such but never shoot a RP fire with extinguisher 1st it burns till theres no fuel left no need in pushing it under pressure to where everything is catching on fire (curtains, walls, carpet etc) oh and i cant stress enough how important it is that if you do have a flash fire, dont worry about saving product and labwares etc. put that fucker out then see if anything is salvagable. never approach the fire with the thought of saving a few grams of dope.

alaska is a great land and is definatley the last frontier. its not for the faint of heart unless they wanna live in fairbanks or anchorage but even in those big citys the winters can be brutal and the bear and moose pose a danger as well i live far out in the woods. its a 100 mile trip to town for me wish it were farther lol. i hunt moose and bear and on occasion caribou but i dont like caribou meat much bear and moose suit my taste much more. i use a 375 magnum. i like to get it done and get outta there lol besides id hate to come up against a grizzly with a bow or spear prolly wouldnt turn out so good. i live on 160 acres with a river full of salmon that borders my land and when its the rainy season its also class 4 white water. i gotta say having a 150 pound fish on the end of a spear must be a wild ride lol the iditarod passes right thru here well several miles but kinda close. i love it here and will never leave this land, it suits me well. it gets around 40 to 50 below zero F in the winter and ive seen it 76 below zero with no wind chill. i stay in the house and kick back like a fat rat on those kind of days unless called out to work, then i am paid extremly well for it or i dont go lol

thanks for the insight mate, what you describe is barely within my ability to visualize--i imagine what i see in odaho during the winter trips i took there and then add the game,i come from an open plain arid dry climate,no game in aust is edible unless eaten continuosly for months, the meat will go through you in 3 hours--i spose the water fowl and ducks are better but its still black flesh and gamey--the wild pig is the only exception, its flesh is good pork and it doesnt pay to be muslim--the buggers reach 450 pound and always seem to have this pissed off attitude--so are you alone up there--whats your field of work-snow shovelor--moose skinner--i must say the ladys we have here are very fine--the weather means its beach wear 8 months of the year--i never forget the idaho women in winter and there layers of clothes--was like a lucky dip--you never knew what you had till you got home--do you have power as in electricity

Well alright, the old farts are finally getting to speak to each other about our dreams. Swirl had ideas that both swiWR & SwiM were walking in shoes as old as swirl's.

46 is not the age, 43 is! Wicked know what ya mean about the 25 years, it will be 26 in sept. and lots of alikes in the past. Hope with age comes a little wisdom. Learn to just dream alone (and safely, thanx)) and for just self and a few close bros. Swirl has got reum. arth. in the last 6 mo, so it is taking some adjust to things that can't be done like alone. Swirl dosent say disabled, "just unable to complete without assistance" lol. Enough bout that!

About 4 mo. ago swim was using ether from a parts store that starts with a N (had got a Great deal on a case). ist time with this brand and it is clean before cleaning. 2 shakes and blum, lid and band blow off wm 1 qt jar. Right in face of swirl, think god swirl had on cotton mask, chem gogs and chem gloves. after ripping off mask and gogs, sucking in any fresh air grabed the towel sitting in a bucket of water. Never thought much about it until now, but swim does rem reading in a post by swiWR. Swirl has always kept the towel and h20 close by.

Domi, glad things worked out. Swim guesses that swiDR is pretty close to if not one of the addmitted ageless dreamers?

Swigotta to much calmness show with the wisdom swim guesses?

Later !!!! !!!!!!

GREETINS FELLOW DREAMERS!

Your right on with your asumption about being one of the "AGELESS DREAMERS".

SWIDOMI never really cared about the "DREAM" to much, had always been well connected to straight shootin bro who always give ya what you paid for and never ran dry.

When "OLE BRO" decided it was time to call it a career {20+ yrs a long fruitful career by any standards}he introduced SWIDOMI to a young{punkass}under study.

First transaction was way off and left much to be desired in way of quality, swidomi mentioned it but made no big deal of it,the 2nd time netted swidomi 600$ of rock salt.

This time swidomi RAISED HELL young punkass says "sorry man, no refunds, thats just the way it is!" after more "HELL RAISIN" he says F*** YOU MAN,if your not happy go somewhere else.

WRONG ANSWER!!! SWIDOMI is easy goin but does have a mean ass temper when riled,

now,in a blind rage he goes to punkasses door and introduces him to MR. GLOCK 40,IN FRONT OF PUNKASS FRIENDS,I know,I know...dumbass move for someone whosbeen lucky and never met mr.lawdog, heard it took 30+ stitches in the roof of his mouth, that front sight on MR.40 must've been sharp!

ANYWAY, after surviving that little drama SWIDOMI decided best thing to do was learn the dream for himself, keep everything to himself, and never venture into punkville again! OH YEAH,punkass was in jail in sight of 6 mo. reckin' he bends over much in the showers?!? HEHEHEHEHE!!!

Though Swiss is only 26, he was raised by old-school and still keeps company with old-school, and thankfully the wisdom he wasn't taught came like most of the wisdom the wiser people have... "naturally"

Swiss' name and product are pretty popular around here, and he's done a lot of "laying low" in the back when there was a crowd in the front, avoiding the inherent dopeman stress of 50 people asking 100 questions, some wanting to visit with Swiss, some wanting Swiss to hurry, some propositioning Swiss, lots wanting a front and LOTS trying to steal Swiss' shit while Swiss is too busy to notice...and don't forget theres always one person asking for foil (a glass-pipe these days) one for a point one for a spoon (a bump-cup these days) one for some water one for a piece of cotton one wants a half a teen split into 4 different bags one needs an extra baggie etc., etc., etc.! ( and the point behind all this was wisdom, all things that if Swiss were "wise" he wouldn't be doing!lol) but anyway...Swiss does a lot of laying low while one of his trusted b.r.o.e.s (brotherhood of eternal sleep) or girls (very few qualify) handle business...'cause if Swiss sticks his head out the door...Swiss is quickly overwhelmed! But my point to allll that was how funny it is when people that don't know me meet me and they're lookin' at me all crazy and sayin' "Hmmm...I thought you were an older guy"...lol.....I love you guys! By the way- gotta and I are gonna' have a show-down at Red Lobster at high-noon! Swiss wants me to say high to Wicked, Gotta, Acid, Tryp(who incidentally Swiss thinks doesn't like him, but he's probably just thinkin' that), Red Horse, LukkyD, Pikk, Morgan, etc., etc., (Swiss is probably forgetting a few he really, really likes.) Peace...oldschoolers and newbies and everything in between!
