Sulfric vs. Muratic
swim has been using muratic to bubble, and noticed pikk uses sulphuric in his "theoretical synthesis". swims question is: excluding chem supply houses, were could swim obtain sulphuric?

Re: Sulfric vs. Muratic
i presume you mean sulphuric--go to your yellow pages--and look up the chemical manufacturing plants--you may find it at the factory--look up the many uses for it and hit those businesses that use it--i have a vague recollection of some guy telling of finding it in the right percentages in some kind of brick/mortar cleaner ( though dont quote me on that one)--theres numerous sites online that you can buy it via email and credit card--im sure theres many other i do not know of--good luck

Re: Sulfric vs. Muratic
Shit man, Sulphuric can be found at your local ACE Hardware store under the name LIQUID FIRE or RUDDO-Drain cleaner. Its in a red or red and white bottle with a tag on it that says POISON!!! Skull and cross bones and all. Or you can buy the stuf that is replacement for batterys and boil it dowwn but don't breathe tha fumes. You wont get much that way but its a start. Muratic is used to clean mortar and brick. It works but it gets SO hot. Return will be less!!!!!!!Any questions--- E-mail me.

Re: Sulfric vs. Muratic
listen it is as cap trip says. swip gets his at hardware stores it is lu fire . but stay away from the elctolite (for batterys) it is only 33% acid . also just go to the hardware store look on the bottles on the lable it should say 93% sulfuric acid this is what you want. murtic just dont seam to work as well to swip .

Re: Sulfric vs. Muratic
muriatic(HCl) and foil makes hydrogen gas.
Sulfuric and salt make HCl gas.
